Maybe you look happier, have more energy etc. Or maybe you have started working on things you haven't been able to do in a long time due to stress, exhaustion etc. Maybe you start reaching out to friends and again and catch up! Talking to neurotypicals is scary bc 99% of the time i cant tell when someone is making a joke so I respond genuinely and theyre like Oh I was only kidding haha. And then I seem stupid.

Tbh though sometimes I Can tell but it pisses me off so I still respond the same way like at work I have to ask how sweet people want their drinks and a lot of people make diabetes jokes which I dont find funny but what I do find funny is how awkward they get when i dont entertain their "joke"

on monday i went to the library between class to work on psych and i forgot my airpods have a noise cancelling feature but less than a minute after i turned it on this older woman tried to get my attention bc she wanted to ask abt my shirt like ToT the timing.
