Tumblr’s new “no adult content” policy

So, anyone else who has posts of Henry and Elizabeth, mostly season 1, finding that they’re getting emails from Tumblr?

I used the Appeal option but seriously, what the heck?!

Update on this is that it passed review. My posts are clearly NOT adult content.

I am not actually. Oneapothesis has a Tumblr page with that name. I haven't been on Tumblr much since late into Madam Secretary Season 4.

My local radio station (WGN in Chicago) actually covered “Madam Secretary” this morning literally saying that CBS was pulling out all the stops to save the show from cancellation. By the way, my local radio station NEVER discusses Msec, ever.

I have no idea how true that is other than that ratings have been very poor and no reruns are running during the TV off season, instead putting it on Netflix.

Would they pull the plug on the as the season starts?

I will say, my energy for it anymore is quite low and it has nothing to do with the quality of the show. It has everything to do with the reality of our current U.S. political system flagrantly showing the worst possible side of itself.

I find it impossible to imagine government as depicted here. Maybe it was that when Barbara Hall was growing up as she’s probably only a bit older than me. But it’s not that way now. It’s so completely dysfunctional and has been for decades.

While I've been away....

The tyrant President of my subsidiary left to be replaced by a very qualified person with whom I've worked with for 12 years. We still have to contend with a rotten CEO at our parent company but at least the dark clouds in the office have lifted. In addition to that, I'd be lying if I said I can handle what's going on in the U.S. It's been a brutal reality for me, having been raised in what we call "the 1%" household before striking out on my own and while I do well, it's not to the level of my dad. I learned to love the founding principles of the U.S. and the men who founded them. The brutal reality is seeing exactly how imperfect any system is when complicity takes control of 2/3 branches of our government leaving us at the mercy of a fascist who now is a fascist dictator. Given how our system works and how more people don't vote than vote, I don't see a way out of this. But I'm damned well going to work to turn over some House seats in red districts. Watching Madam Secretary with how government is supposed to work feels too much like fantasy land. We aren't that country anymore. We haven't been that country in more than 25 years.
