so i’m finding that i’m not having the time (or a swell time at all, really), roleplaying on dashboard so! with that being said, this blog is gonna remain inactive until i can find my groove again. in the mean time, i’ll be at my aim @s.akurada so anyone can come introduce themselves and talk to me personally. i’m illit there, but i’m also willing to do a literate chat/roleplay if you’d like! just let me know.

i’m also going to dash lurk from time to time, so there’s that.

               ❝It’s been a while,❞ Kouki said after he let moments of silence pass, stirring his coffee lazily. A small chuckle escaped from his mouth as he thought of how he had always mentioned how much he wanted to meet up with Dori and tell him stories about work in emails and instant messages, but when they finally had the chance, he seemed to be quite at loss for words. 

               His attention went back to the other and he took a small sip of coffee before continuing. ❝We won’t have any Super Handsome Live this year.❞ A hint of slight disappointment was present in his voice. ❝I wonder what kind of changes the event will undergo this time.❞ 

               Kouki then realized what he had just said and shifted uncomfortably in his chair, wondering why he decided to talk about that out of all topics.

If there’s anything positive about how untalkative these two were, the atmosphere doesn’t feel too awkward or too uncomfortable for him. After long years of friendship, he’s too used to Kouki to feel strange in this silence. It’s comforting, even, to be there with someone very familiar.

“From the looks of it, everyone seems pretty busy this year,” he states with a sigh, stirring his own coffee. Dori’s not innocent either -- he’s on high demand for the past ten months. It’s been him doing one thing and then another consecutively. While it’s tons of work, he can’t deny that Super Handsome Live is as fun as it is rewarding. He can’t help but miss seeing everyone together like that.

“Who knows? Maybe next one will be better than the last year’s, don’t you think?”

        Having an abnormally low number of neutrophils has his skin slightly red and his scratched knees sweelling. Supposedly, this is the result of parents who are just a little bit (to say the least) of neat-freaks when they prevent their precious youngest child from dveloping a proper immune system. That, on top of being born ill, in first place. So having two left hands and two left feet – just an extremely clumsy nature overall adds to the hurting factory. Cue the wounds he’s gained today, marvelous! So talented! Yes, it quite aches, quite a lot – what is there to do? He’s seated on the edge of the sidewalk with knees close to his chest so he could blow cold air on it but it is effortless – he should really find a napkin or something to stop the bleeding. Upon new voice, he lifts his gaze up but rather than being fuddled he is settled.

        ”Ah, nothing… I just– fell?” You’re so obvious, Kim Jinhong.

An all-too obvious statement, and he can’t deny it. After all, to this kid’s misfortune, Dori had witnessed every second of this tragic accident. “You definitely did,” he comments with a solicitous look on his face. Solicitous because well, upon further inspection, he’s immediately made aware of the bleeding wound on the stranger’s knee, and that he’s trying to tend to it rather ineffectively.

Had it not been handy old Dori Sakurada who came around at this time, maybe this poor sap would’ve been stuck bleeding on that sidewalk forever. From the McDonalds takeout bag he’s holding, he rummages through a burger and french fries to find an excessive amount of napkins he’d nabbed from the dispenser. He bends at his height to hand over the napkins. “Are you alright?”

She nods lightly at his question. “Mm, I’ve been well. I left AKB48 shortly after the drama aired though…” She pauses briefly before continuing with a smile. “And I’ve been taking on more work as a model and actress since then, so it’s a new direction. But I’ve been good. What about yourself?”

“Right, right--I’ve heard. That’s great, though! It seems like it’s going well for you.” Dori attentively nods his head. “I myself have been pretty busy for the past couple of years but I’ve generally been good nonetheless, thanks for asking. Are you currently working on anything?”

“Eh?” She blinks, trying to recall the male in front of her - and only bringing to mind a hazy image of a brief interaction behind the scenes. “I’m sorry - it must have slipped my mind Sakurada-san. That drama feels like it was such a long time ago!” She chuckled, a little embarassed from her slip-up.

“That’s okay!” He beams cheerfully and briefly bows his head slightly, for he barely even remembers what went down in that period of time. And he barely even remembers anything beyond just being introduced on the same set as her. “It’s been quite awhile ago, so I understand. How have you been?”
