#this ship wasn’t about finding the good girl to tame the bad boy #or the whole she saved him thing #it was about compatibility and understanding and seeing each other in a way that only they knew #rory saw in jess what no one else could #she saw his potential and his talent and she never lost faith in his abilities even when he believed otherwise #jess saw in rory a normal girl with high ambitions #he didn’t see a gilmore or the paraded around innocent of stars hollow #she was just rory to him #rory who could quote anything and spoke really fast and drank too much coffee #he didn’t worship her but she was something so alien to him #you know why? #because she was the first person to look at him in interest and not dismiss him #even when he pulled his stupid stunts she knew that wasn’t really him #ugh they were just so perfect because they saw in each other a whole possibility of worlds (x)
