Kim in his 20s?

I think he'd be a bit more casually punk than how I've drawn him here but I wanted to draw him in something more classically 70s for this. Still tried to convey some of that edge in his fashion and his interest in pilot clothing (combat boots, aviator glasses, leather jacket). Also, I think it's possible he may just have short hair at this time period, maybe it's a bit counter-culture, but I'm kind of attached to the fringe as weird as it looks on him. I definitely believe the bell bottoms are an exception for him and wouldn't be exactly his style even back then (not very functional pants, not a lot of pockets), he'd have exactly one pair of them. I just think its silly for him to have an embarrassing reminder of the 30s hidden in his wardrobe :-)

what pisses me off the most about kim on a motorcycle is it’s just not happening like yeah harry is the motorcycle cop. he’s the one with official art of him on a motorcycle…whatever i’ll just get my chud ass cheeks clapped.

I feel like im going crazy right now. So we know that disco elysium's electrochemistry is not actually the addictions guy, but rather the pleasure guy. Hes just too compromised by Harry's addictions that theres not a lot else that can give electrochemistry any pleasure. He has basically gone so far he has become distorted from what his original purpose was supposed to be.

But i personally cannot think of electrochemistry and volition as separate, because they are literally each other's opposite; electrochemistry is indulgence and instant gratification and volition is self restraint and delayed gratification. So i thought in a healthy person these two will work in favor of each other insead of rivalling.

So then i thought what happens if someone's volition were to go too far and become so extreme it distorts into something it shouldn't be?

Then i realized. That's kim. Thats the guy who puts way too much effort into appearing as boring and regular as possible that he cannot tell his own partner what kind of music he listens to without shame. The guy who needs to be convinced to play a board game with his partner.

Kims volition has become so obsessed with self restraint that it has become a type of social anxiety revolving around having an iron grip around his reputation and (lack of) pleasure 24/7 that he needs the extreme electrochemistry guy to balance it. They make me insane.
