In it’s shadow the world grows.
Engaging in pleasurable activities
rather than doing what is essential,
The habit of procrastination is saturating this entire generation’s potential.
Postponing everything until next time,
What they don’t realise, is a petty crime.
Faulty habits, futile thoughts, clenching back
Piling responsibilities in a huge rotten sack!
The epidemic of procrastination is predominant;
From children to grown ups, it is apparently evident.
Avoidance of necessary tasks, that needs to be accomplished, Is making the era of brilliance impoverished.
Would there ever be an end to procrastination?

Finding a Way

A challenging yet essential decision to make,
Which way is real, which one is fake?
I ask myself the same question repeatedly,
Why am I not enthusiastic steadily?
For all I am a wanderer; a nomad
Yearning to go back to my homeland.
But the quench for exploration stays with me
The farther I go, the clearer I see.
Wanderlust has struck me to a great extent,
Makes coming back from it absolutely recalcitrant.
The path of glory; the path of success,
But who determines what is the best?
