Michi, have you ever had to drop a client immediately, and if so what happened?
“I’m rather resilient, I don’t believe anyone is a lost cause.” Michi confirmed with a nod. “That being said… for the benefit of my own mental health, I have let clients go before. Only after they ruined their reputation beyond repair. I can only handle so much at once, sadly.”
“My feet are cute! Lookie!” Azumi raises her foot and tries to shove it in your face but… ends up kicking you straight in the jaw. “Oh! Oopsie! Shehe! Sorryyy!”
“Bhahaha!!!” Blair laughed hysterically in the background. “Good kick, looney. Good kick.”
I just found out coffee comes from cherries. WHAT THE FUCK
Malbec smiled and nodded at your exclamation. She began to sign to you! “Yeah, weird isn’t it? Coffee cherries are weird. I always assumed they came from beans. All you need to do is roast the cherries.”
what kind of a relationship do you and iyabo have, michi?
“We-!” Michi began sharply, voice on edge, but she caught herself and sighed deeply. “… We dated off and on again for a few years. That’s all. We no longer speak to each other. Why would I wish to anyways? I have plenty to do with my time. She can go frolic in the fields with a bunch of vermin all she wants, I want no part of it.” She huffed, turning her head to the side with a frown.
“We gotta do that again? O-Kay! Hi!!! I’m Azumi Uneo, Ultimate Cheerleader! Shh! I’ll do it, guys don’t worry!” She batted at the other girls, waving her arms. “The pink haired girl is Michi, Ultimate Agent! The red head is Blair, Ultimate Comedian! Annnddd, my bestest bestest friend, Mally! She’s the Ultimate Barista!” Azumi hugs the brunette tightly with a happy squee.
Malbec makes a visible face of disgust, trying to claw her way out desperately.
“Azumi, we’ve talked about personal space..” Michi reminded.
“Shut up, do ya want her to hug you instead?” Blair muttered.
“My hair?? Shehehe!! Okay! Don’t pull on it too hard okay, otherwise I’ll have to return the favor! You get whatcha give, y’know?” Azumi giggled, turning around and sitting in front of you so you could toy with her hair.
kick back time for blair, huh? what do you like to do to relax?
“I get high off my ass mostly.” Blair snickered, casually pulling a blunt out of her pocket along with a lighter, after flopping onto her back on the bed. She took a hit or two and let her head roll back. “Don’t tell Mich, kay? She’s got a stick up her ass about this shit.”
azumi has a therapist?? good for her! i'm glad she's trying to work on herself!
“I do???” Azumi asked with her head tilted, before peeking up and nodding. “Oh yeah!!! I do! My therapist is soooo nice! She’s having a baby right now, so I haven’t seen her in a little bit, haha!”
“…. She had her baby three months ago.” Malbec spoke up finally, voice flat and unamused.
“Oh! She did!? I wouldn’t know, haven’t gone! Shehehe!!”
A quartet of girls passed you by in the halls, all walking in a group but remaining in their respective pairs. While three of the four don’t seem to pay you any mind, one of the shorter ones bounces. “Hey! Hey, hiii!!” The voice squealed, and before you knew it, a colorful girl was right in front of your face, dragging along a friend too. “Ohmygosh! Have I seen you before?? I think I might have! Shehehe! Names slip my mind a lot, sorryyyy! I’m Azumi Uneo, Ultimate Cheerleader! Nice ta meetcha again! Or for the first time, whatever!” She wiggles her pompoms excitedly.
Beside Azumi stood a slightly taller and scruffy girl. Her hair was prickly and rough, her bright eyes seemed to be the only lively thing about her appearance in all honesty. She stared at you, before waving and averting her eyes without a single word.
The two other girls hesitated in the back, awaiting for their friends to catch up, only seeming mildly annoyed by the inconvenience.

She was slightly startled by the sudden attention, but in an instant it seemed it was never there. She smiled at the new faces, waving with her fingers to the shyer friend before speaking to the more outgoing one. “You might’ve seen me before. I’m kinda on magazines and all that stuff. I’m Junko Enoshima, Ultimate Fashionista.” The enthusiasm Azumi had just to be talking to her made her smile wider.
Azumi gasped loudly and bounced in place, earning the stares of her other two friends in the distance. The redhead seemed to take a particular interest. “Ohmygosh!!! Hi!!!! You’re like super duper famous, aren’t you!? I’m so excited to meet you! Can you show me how to-!” The cheerleader began, only to get cut off.
“C’mon, Zumi. Move aside. The celebrities are here to talk.” Blair shoved her way into the conversation, along with shoving Azumi out of the way and into poor Malbec instead. “What’s up, doll? How’d someone like you end up in a place like this?” She asked, as if where they were meeting was somehow a dump. The pink haired girl behind Blair was looking rather unimpressed.
She couldn’t help but laugh a little under her breath at Blair’s sudden interest. “Charmer, aren’t you?” She asked, shifting her weight to one of her legs. Heels, even on boots, were a pain most of the time. “If Hope’s Peak is trashy to you I wonder what you find classy. Must be more expensive than all the jewelry in the world, right?” She leaned forward in interest. “I can totally see it. For a prestige school its aesthetic is atrocious.”
“Pfft!” Blair snorted in agreement, her hands landing comfortably in her pockets. “Yea, this place is dump compared to where I live at. Bet you’ve got a castle yourself, don’tcha? Bein’ a model pays well, must be hell trying to primp and preen every inch to look good though. Even if you make it look easy.” She shamelessly eyed Mukuro over, smug as ever. The pink haired woman in the back rolled her eyes at this, continuing to walk ahead and abandoning the pair.
“Aw, right right, forgot to introduce myself, got lost looking at you.” She snickered, before proudly puffing up. “Blair Bierman, Ultimate Comedian. Only job you make fun of people for a living at, babe.”

“Ahh, how grand, we have finally made it!” The man essentially kicked the door to the expensive looking mansion down, spreading his arms in the foyer, fangs clearly visible as he grinned.
“This place is quite quaint, wouldn’t you agree?” A second man stepped inside, takiing a quick drag before taking a look around their new home, continuing: “Some interesting looking people live here. Feels almost like we are meant to be here, isn’t it?”
“You’re quite right, Victor.” The other man chuckled, then wondered: “Where is Vincent? Wasn’t he just behind us?”
“Oh, he is taking care of some of our luggage. Doesn’t really trust the moving crew.”
“Oh, I see.” He sighed, blowing a strand of black hair out of his face, the smile appearing back on his face right after: “Well, it doesn’t matter! I’m sure he will be here in a bit! Come on, let us go greet the locals! With a bit of luck we will find her!”
“Her?” Victor raised an eyebrow, lulling: “Are you really breaking up with us like this?”
He couldn’t help the snort that escaped him: “Don‘t be silly. Come on now, the locals are waiting for our radiating presence!”
“Pst! Bee! Did you bring any water?? I’m thirsty! Being emotional support is soooo draining!” Azumi complained with a pout, walking aside Blair and Michi as they made their way down the street.
“You’re not the emotional support, dipshit, I am-! You can’t even emotionally support yourself…” Blair snarked, clearly exasperated and a little on edge.
“Or remember to bring a water bottle.” Michi sighed, reaching into her pocket and handing over a bottle of water to Azumi, who happily took it and hugged it closely. “Now, I brought you two along to mingle. I’ll need an easy excuse to leave if things go south while talking to her… Azumi, you know the plan?”
“Mmmm… nope! I wasn’t listening when you explained it. Butttt, I’m super good at being spontaneous, so I’ll just roll with it!” She giggled, drinking some water and making an excited noise. “Heyyy! Look! They have new neighbors! Hiiiii!!!” She raised a pompom in the air and waved to Albert and Victor. Michi and Blair both had to look over at the scene to even realize who Azumi was waving to-
“Hiiiii!! I’ve been doing great! Really great actually! You wouldn’t believe how great I’ve been! I got to see my ex again, and he’s doing great!! Can you believe it?? I thought he was dead actually-“ Azumi giggled.
Malbec stares at Azumi before sighing, scribbling out for you to read. “I’ve been well. My cafe business is growing and I’m working on sleeping more at night. Getting Azumi to her therapist is another challenge though..”
“Fan-fucking-tastic, actually! My tour went great, got to hackle a few unruly audiences, got lots of laughs, and everyone loved it. My ego has been sufficiently stroked, so now it’s kick back time.” Blair informed, crossing her legs and leaning back in the couch with an easy smile.
“… Some of us are still hard at work.” Michi gave Blair a pointed glare, rolling her eyes and messing with her clipboard. “I’m up to waist in client business. The agency firm I work for is practically bleeding me dry of all my hours of the day. And, I.. still haven’t found the right time to apologize to Iyabo for missing our meet up.” She sighed sadly. “Not that it would better our relationship anyhow…”

“Huh–? Oh hey…” Kibo stalls when Azumi runs up to him, he remembered her from before, when they’d talked on the bench “Uh, Kibo Sekai, nice to meet you…uh..again…” He gives a smile and looks over the little group. He’d been on his way down to the cafeteria to grab something to eat and take it back to his dorm, but talking to people might be kind of nice. “How have you been…?”
“Ohmygosh! Hi, Hope!!!” Azumi’s memory registered not even a moment later, even the nickname she picked for him, bouncing over to Kibo and giving him a sudden but quick hug, backing off almost as quickly as she embraced him. “It’s nice to see you again! I’ve been super duper good! Not as busy now too, since I helped my friend find her sister! Shehe!” She giggled. “Me and my girlfriends were just going down to get some food. Are you going there too? You should come with us!!” She invited, looking to the other girl for reassurance.
The brown haired girl looked Kibo over, and nodding at him to show she meant no harm. Without another word, she began walking away with the other two girls a little head, motioning for the pair to follow.
“Uh—yeah okay” He smiles, trotting after the group with a smile “I was just heading that way myself so I wouldn’t mind the company…” he looked around over the group, his eyes landing on the brunette and he gave a smile “I’m Kibo Sekai…nice to meet you..” he seemed to be in a good mood now, high energy people always did that to him, like it was contagious or something.
The tired eyed brunette looked up at Kibo, a small tinge of anxiety hitting her when she was addressed. Thinking it was rude to just beginning signing, Malbec pulled out a notepad and pencil from her back pocket and scribbled in it quickly, before showing the contents to him. “Nice to meet you, Kibo. I’m Malbec Cantina, Ultimate Barista. I’m sorry if I seemed rude. I’m mute and didn’t want to assume you could sign. I’m happy you’ll be joining us!” She wrote with enough enthusiasm, though her dark circles made it difficult to show that physically.
Beside them, stood two other girls talking amongst themselves. Well, actually they seemed to be debating. Arguing. They were arguing-
“Blair. This is a serious issue. You need to stop picking fights with people on social media. Do you get some sort of thrill when you humiliate people publicly?”
“Yeah, kinda, actually. Especially dumbasses who think picking a fight with a comedian is gonna end well. That’s like trying to punch a professional boxer! At what point did they imagine calling me out going well??”
“Mute…?” he tilts his head and gives a soft nod “I don’t sign, sorry, but it’s nice to meet you.” his eyes were drawn toward the argument, but in an effort not to be rude– he chose to ignore them in favor of the brunette and the cheerleader “So uh…how have you two been..? Today going well?” Walk and talk, walk and talk, what do people make small talk about…?
“Today is going super duper well! We’re planning a party actually!!” Azumi cheered, shaking her pompoms up in the air for emphasis. She walked closer to Kibo, shoulder bumping him with a smile. “The girl with the pink hair like handles invitations and stuff, the one with the stupid hat does comedy sketches, I’m an awesome decorator, annnnddd…” She leans closer and whispers. “Mally knows how to make annnyyy kind of drink! So we’re like a dynamic group for parties, y’know??” She boasted. “Are class is always like busy-busy though, so it’ll be hard to get everyone together! Oooh, we could invite your class too! Who’s in your class, Hope??”
“Well uh….actually..” he rubbed the back of his neck and gave an awkward chuckle “I don’t exactly know anyone in my class yet…so it’s uh…it’ll be difficult to tell you about them y’know?” an attempt at a joke “But uh, that’s pretty awesome that you all are throwing a party, nobody at my old school had parties like ever–” well if they did, he only heard about them, he wasn’t ever an attendee “If they did, they usually just invited their friends…”
“Whaaatt???” Azumi asked in an overly exaggerated tone of voice. “I can’t believe you haven’t met them yet! That’s crazy, Hope! We need to get you a bigger friend group!” She pouted briefly. “You’ll come to our party and make friends with our class if need be!” The thought of Kibo not knowing many people drove her extroverted mind to the brink of collapse. “Chichi! Bee!” The cheerleader loudly called out to the other two girls who hadn’t introduced themselves yet. “You’re being soooo rude! Can’t you two have your lover’s spat some other time? We have a new friend here!”
That caught both girl’s attention, the tallest of the pair rolling her eyes and giving Kibo a nod. “What’s up? You new here?” She looked over his outfit and appearance, sniffling a laugh. Azumi clearly has a type, huh? Brown hair and yellow eyes-

“Oh, hello.” Kizana put on a smile when she saw Azumi, recognizing her right away. She stepped back in anticipation of Azumi’s high energy attitude. “It’s nice to see you again, Azumi. I feel like we barely got to talk enough the first time. And– who’s your friend? I don’t think I got to meet her.” She turned her smile onto the other girl curiously.
“Oh yeah, yeah! Hi, Kizzy!!!” The name finally registered in her brain once again, giggling and bopping her head side to side childishly. Kizana was a nice girl in Azumi’s eyes, professional and sweet. Plus, somebody with a influential talent as a friend was always helpful. She grinned wider at her question, one of her arms wrapping around the brown-haired girl’s waist and pulling her over. “Shehehe! This is Malbec, but I call her Mally! She’s the Ultimate Barista annnnddd my girlfriend!”
Malbec tensed up noticeably, an annoyed expression springing to her face. The messy haired girl practically shoved Azumi away, clawing herself out of her grasp like a cat who didn’t wish to be held. Not even bothering to ask if Kizana knew sign language, she furiously began signing while shaking her head. “We are not dating. I don’t know why she tells everyone that. It’s a lie!”
Kizana noticed the way that Malbec reacted to the allegation of being Azumi’s girlfriend, and she chuckled a little. She noticed the gestures of sign language, but she didn’t know what any of it meant. She assumed that Malbec was probably trying to deny or brush off or explain what Azumi had done. “Girlfriend, huh?” She smiled again. “Well, you two do make a cute couple. A barista and a cheerleader…That’s fitting in it’s own way.”
Azumi giggled even more so while Malbec threw her head back in exasperation. While she aimed to pull out her notepad and pencil to clear her name, Azumi had other plans. She bounced up to Kizana and grinned. “Totally! You know what?? You should join me and my friends for lunch! If you’re not too busy?” She glanced back to see the other pair of girls were gone, but it wouldn’t take long to catch up to them in all honesty. “Ooooh! We can share gossip and maybe they’ll vote for you in your campaign thingy!” She encouraged excitedly.
“Oh, okay!” Kizana’s eyes lit up in excitement at the prospect of four potential votes, and at the idea of getting to know more people and more things about them. “I would love that. I don’t have any other plans for lunch. I could definitely go with you. I’d love to meet all your other friends.” She smiled at them both now, indicating that she was already pleased just to meet Malbec alone. “They don’t have to vote for me, but it would definitely help!”
“Awesome! Campaign session start now!” Azumi grabbed Kizana’s hand and Malbec’s with the other and began tugging them both towards the cafeteria. While everyone bustled, grabbed their food, and rushed to find their usual table, the cheerleader lead them both to a table full of students. The boys seemed to sit at one end of the table, while the girls favored the opposite end. Eight or so boys chit chatted, while two girls sat at the end of the table, keeping conversation. “Mimi!! Bee!!! Heyyy! I brought a friend to sit with us!” Azumi loudly announced to catch the two girls attention.
The red headed girl looked up with a curious gaze, eyeing Kizana up and down before grinning. “C’mon Zumi, there’s only enough room for one ditzy blonde at the table. Meanin’ you’re getting kicked out, and we’re takin’ this one instead.”
The pink haired girl rolled her eyes at her friend’s comment, her gaze moving to Kizana with a friendly smile. “Don’t pay her any attention, it’ll only feed her ego. You’re both more than welcome to join us.”

“Oh, hello!” Nagito smiled brightly when the energetic girl began talking to him. He wasn’t used to being approached by people in such a positive way. It was a confusing but welcome change. “I think– Yes, I think I’ve seen you around before. You look very familiar.” He addressed this to Azumi, because he didn’t recognize the other girl. “I’m Nagito Komaeda, the Ultimate Lucky Student. Although, even if we have met before, you probably wouldn’t remember me at all.”
“Huh?? Why wouldn’t I remember you? You’re super pretty for a boy! Shehehe!” Azumi complimented followed by a giggle. Her eyebrows raised at the mention of his talent. “Oooh, you’re one of the lottery winners! Neat! Isn’t the cool, Mally??” She nudged the girl next to her, grinning.
The brown-haired girl looked annoyed, but looked Nagito over. She could appreciate his style, smiling lightly and nodding in agreement. Her hands moved to sign, “Yes. It is really cool. I wish we had a lucky student in our class.” She wasn’t positive Nagito could understand, if not she luckily carried around a notepad and pen as well.
“Pretty? No– I definitely wouldn’t call myself pretty.” Nagito laughed softly and shook his head. “I look disgusting. And as far as my talent, it sucks too. It’s not interesting or even rare.” He shrugged, brushing it off. He glanced over at Malbec as she started to move and gesture, and he could recognize that she was using sign language, but he didn’t know any sign language himself. It was obvious in the confusion on his face, but he didn’t want to be rude and say that he didn’t understand, thereby indirectly asking her to do something else to accommodate his own ignorance. Instead, he looked to Azumi for some instruction or translation.
Azumi giggled at Malbec not being understood, taking it upon herself to have a little fun. “Shehehe! She said you’re pretty too!” She lied, looking to her friend for the reaction.
Malbec’s face burned and glared at Azumi, punching her in the shoulder. While the barista pulled out her notepad and pencil, Azumi interjected again.
“Ahaha! I’m just kidding! She actually said that your talent does kinda suck! Awe, but don’t take her word for it, she’s just a plain ol’ barista!” She pouted, lying even more with a smile.
The interaction between them was enough to make Nagito smile and chuckle a little himself. It definitely reminded him of the way his friends had goofed off together when they were still in school. “No, she’s right. My talent sucks. It doesn’t bother me, don’t worry. I’ve made my peace with it. It’s only the truth. A barista is a much better talent than the Ultimate Lucky Student. Trust me.”
Malbec stared at him curiously, scribbling down something on her paper, but Azumi cut in once again before she could show it to him. “Awe! That’s okay! We can just find you a new talent! What about….” The cheerleader eyed him over. “You can cheer with me! If you’re lucky, then you’ll land every cartwheel and never get hurt either. I can give you some hair ties and stuff, I’ll make you super pretty! Do you like wearing skirts??”
Malbec sighed, turning over her paper and showing that it said, “Your talent is cool. We don’t have a lucky student, so it’s neat to meet one.” She attempted to encourage.
“Uh, yeah??? Dude! Do you see how much hair dye costs?? It’s ridiculous! Me taking like…. seven bottles shouldn’t matter that much! Shop lifting is such a common crime that like- everyone does it! It’s not our fault these stores are robbing us by charging sooo much money!” Azumi pouted.
