Who Is She?
#epilepsy #illremember #memory #epilepsyproblems
This comic has two messages. First, all kinds of people have epilepsy. And second, all kinds of people are assholes about it.
UPDATE 10.24.15: I was asked why I thought that knocking on the bathroom door to check up on you is such a bad thing to do. I made a sequel to this comic to explain that I don’t think that it is. You can read it here if you want to.

They Can Talk is on Facebook !
Okay, so: way back when I made comic #2, I basically piled up a list of shitty things to say and do to a person who has epilepsy, and slapped the text in front of random talking heads. It seems that many people relate with its content. However, today I was asked why I thought that knocking on the bathroom door to check on you was such a bad thing for a person to do.
Well, the answer is that I really don’t think it is at all. What I had in my head for the bathroom privacy panels in comic #2 was a situation in which the attention was unwarranted, and I didn’t communicate that. I thought about just editing the comic, but ultimately decided that it was best to make a new comic to explain what I was thinking.Â
It’s aggravating, but it’s not because the person knocking on the door is being an ass, it’s because they care about you and are thinking about your safety.  Unfortunately, loss of privacy is entirely unavoidable for many, particularly those with intractable seizures. It blows, but it’s not fair to direct your anger at the person who’s looking out for you.

Got home from work the last two nights and drunk copious amounts wine, watched political debates and set to searches for new jobs. Nursing is to much responsibility. This blame culture is to much I was at work this weekend Jeremy, I was at fucking work

@rashidajones:Â Happy #nationalbestfriendday. On my way to @pixarinsideout premiere with my bestie Amy P. who is INSANELY inspired in this masterpiece of a film.
hey girl: here’s an idea, but… it’s up to you. You’re the boss of this operation.
what’s really amazing to me is that people are so afraid of body hair on women that even in a shaving commercial they won’t show a hairy leg. they demonstrate the razor by shaving a hairless leg. they show their product being completely useless instead of showing leg hair. it’s just wild
