My question's situation - I feel like I have wasted time from 2020 - 2025 ( when I was 13 to 18, during the pandemic lockdown and even after that , I just turned 19 two months back in September ) to get a headstart on my artistic, musical, creative and dancing ambitions that I want to pursue as a career now ... I'm still facing hardships and situations are getting tighter now when back then it stuff wasn't as much bad as now ... Though it was somewhat confusing and not that good ... I think had I acted somewhat back then to even a year back I could have been in the right direction I wanted be on career wise already ...
So my question is - Were the years I wasted really a waste or were they there to teach any me lessons due to which I am in the place I'm meant to be ?

Sometimes rest is absolutely a requirement. Especially during difficult times (like during and after the pandemic). Especially when you're very young and still growing, as you are.
Please don't take this as an insult, because it is said lovingly: hearing a 19-year-old worry that they should have gotten a start on their career as far back as age 14... to me, at 40, it sounds a little like a five-year-old terrified that they haven't started studying for their college exams yet. You have time. You have SO MUCH TIME. Sometimes you need to rest. Sometimes it is not the moment for moving and striving. For the past 5 years, it has been the time to rest on this subject, and it still is resting-time at the moment.
The best way to prepare for one's future is to take care of oneself. If you burn yourself out now with worry and pressure, you won't have the energy to do your best in the future. Take care of your mental health and your stress levels, and that's the best way to set yourself up for success in your career.
This isn't the reading, this is just me: I can suggest that if you find yourself overwhelmed with anxious thoughts like this a lot, you may want to go ahead and start doing self-care for your mental health. See someone about potentially getting on medication; see if you can start seeing a therapist. From my own experience, I can say that getting your mental health taken care of makes EVERYTHING in your life so much easier.
