Hi!! Welcome!! I wanted to make a little intro to my art blog (about time sheesh it’s been like a year) and also link my carrd which I just recently finished making!

I’m Ari, but I also go by Askafka or Kafka (they/them, it/its), I’m a 20yr old queer disabled artist and I make art/fanart both traditional and digital (but mostly digital) and I’m currently attending an art uni for a fine arts degree, majoring in interdisciplinary and minoring in illustration.

I love fashion and character design stuff and I eventually want to make a video game or two with my own art. I also have a special interest in Saiki k as I continue to draw fanart for and write fanfics for these characters I absolutely adore. I also like mob psycho, mxtx’s work, MHA, Madoka Magica, the Fear and Hunger verse, BSD, Moral Orel, Blue Period, and some live action shows like Psych and Buffy.

BLASIAN MERA HEADCANON!!! (+other hcs that I just felt like drawing)

I feel like she’s very under appreciated and underrepresented in this fandom so I wanted to contribute something…

I also wrote a Mera-centric fic recently and have been sketching her just cause,, I’m Mera-maxxing. Her and Yuri are the only two things on my mind recently.

So I did a crossover.

Some of it is ripped straight from the manga while other parts that get specific are my writing. A lot of which is based off of her letters to Hinako and crumpled pieces of paper you find in her section of the otherworld. I love her section so much. Plus, obviously the formatting is all the same.

Plus the line Rinko says about Hinako in the rice fields as Bakugo…

Storyboard for a comic (left to right) that I made for class of my OCs Ishimiya (the one with short hair) and Shiokawa (the one who was unnamed at the time and I refer to as ‘Samurai girl’ in my notes).

For a very quick context that would’ve been explained if this had a first chapter- Ishimiya is a dodomeki (women who stole cursed to become demons with long arms and birds eyes covering them) from the edo period who is now living amongst humans in a mall and kind of just letting the years wash over her. Her life as a human was uneventful and tragic, and same goes for her life as a dodomeki, that is, until she’s confronted by Shiokawa, a woman out for revenge against Ishimiya for their shared past…

They are yurious, but it takes some time…

I hate illustrator.

There are so many mistakes and I hate everything about it- it is so difficult to use and everything wanted me dead.

Me when I suck all of the life out of everything I touch.

I’m so mad. It’s so ass. I had to hand it in despite being so disappointed with it because I would genuinely would rather be dead than have to continue working on it and using that fuckass shitty ass fucking program. Do you see that eye in the background that’s supposed to be on the door? Cause I sure didn’t when I FUCKING HANDED IT IN. Fuck my gay ass life.

SPOILERS AHEAD FOR SILENT HILL F!!

Rinko is my girl. I will hear no slander of her! (I mean cmon, haven’t we all pushed our best friend down the stairs over our comphet crush?)

Angel’s demon form during the Pylea arc redesign because I couldn’t stand it. I did a couple of designs as I was developing it and I ended up liking the middle one the most. I wanted to make him look more vampire-ish while still demony so that’s why he looks like the uber-vamps from season 7 and The Master from season 1. Also took some inspo from yokai like oni and gaki (I like the concept of vampires being representative of greed/lust and the idea that there’s never enough to fill them up.) also shoutout to the vampires from the Magnus Archives, I was thinking of them.

+ If he had Angelus’s hair lol
