Lost among the rest of everyone.

With our devout design through the endless storm a single light remains and we retain it, but will we have the hope that it will carry us through what has clouded our lost eyes in every act of trust we leave what’s holding us and cast aside our fears reclaiming all that’s our taking our place as legends countering the tides whose elegies will read we are the ones who have conquered fear laying waste to what has hindered us.

Surreal.

Shafts of light were piercing the sky through the distant haze of morning. A sidewalk bordering the bay, as we walked together among the cherry blossoms; such was a sight I’d never seen. The pacing of her steps so careful taken, as if a rhythm to a dance she had practiced her entire life. Her hand like silk placed in mine, we continued up the walkway to a gazebo placed to the left. Covered in brush and encircled by foliage, the hut beaconed a place for a stoppage in the journey. We entered the small pavilion, took a spot on the provided bench.

“You’ve never seen anything like this, have you?” She inquired.

“I have not. It’s beautiful. The blossom trees hugging the pathway, following the edge of the bay.” I paused. Looked toward the ocean in the distance. “What a wondrous day.”

“You know, I’ve never shared this experience with anyone other than myself. I walked this path a hundred times a year. Since I was ten. Breathing in the air of the morning bay, but always alone.”

I shifted my eyes to hers. “I’m proud to be here with you.” I smiled. The green glistening from her iris, to the miraculous smile she shared back, I felt whole. I put my arm around her left shoulder as she dropped her head onto my right.

“You should definitely enjoy the time we have together.” She stated.

“Your country is astonishing. You must show me more.”

She giggled. “In time dear. Until then, let us enjoy this day. For this day could be our last.”

I feel

So fucking lost. Ever since I've lost you mother, I don't know what to think or do anymore. Not that I cannot make decisions for myself, just so difficult to continue on without you. Everything is a reminder.
