Update regarding acceptances:

After careful deliberation by our mod team and taking into consideration the number of writer and artist applicants we have received, we have settled on our zine’s final layout and contributor numbers! Our zine will be accepting a total of 12 writers and 29 artists (24 zine artists and 5 merch artists). Our mod team is currently in the final stages of reviewing applications and expect to begin sending out messages to all applicants with their results in the next few days - so please keep an eye on your inbox! We will make another announcement when we’ve sent out all the messages. Thank you again for your support and patience!

A clarification/correction to our previous post on contributor numbers: we will be accepting UP to 29 artists in order to accommodate our intended zine layout of 24 zine pieces and merch options.

Hello! I have a quick question in regards to the writer part of the general application. Let's say my example is 600 words above the limit. Would that still be acceptable or should I shorten it? Thanks for answering!

Word count for the application can go over but the final zine writing will need to be 2000 words.

why is it "general" apps, are there other kinds of apps?
