Goodbye Medicaid and Social Security, hello tax cuts for the rich!

The tax cuts that Trump plans to enact might be at the cost of Medicaid and Social Security.

These tax cuts are expensive, expensive as in over $5 trillion..woohoo!

Trump apparently vowed to not touch Medicaid, but what did we learn?

repeat after me, we learned that Trump is a liar!

His plans for Medicaid left open a large loophole, which indicates that he would accept reductions that address 'waste' or 'abuse' of the system. He already cut its budget during his first term, this means that he WILL go after Medicaid this presidency, he'll just do it under the name of "getting rid of the support that we have for illegals" or some other bullshit. STAY AWARE.

Also, some GOP proposals have targeted capping Medicaid payments to states based on population size, while others proposed incising work requirements as a condition of eligibility. Worse of all trump has been silent on the exact future of Medicaid and social security ever since he became president.

In other words, we are cooked!

I highly recommend that you guys look at this proposed reform by the GOP.

According to an analysis by KFF (which references the link above), these changes would "put states at financial risk, forcing them to raise new revenues or reduce Medicaid spending by eliminating coverage for some people, covering fewer services, and (or) cutting rates paid to physicians, hospitals, and nursing homes.

A bit ironic how the same people who voted for the bumbling idiot are those who depend on Medicaid the most. This whole situation is giving me middle-school nostalgia, if students in your class fuck up, everyone takes the punishment.

Trump wants schools to ease SA rules

You guys clearly don't understand his genius. If we ban all CP and have harsh consequences for SA crimes then what will our politicians do in their free time? God forbid a man have a hobby. Poor Donald Trump should never be bored when visiting schools!

On a more serious note, this is a serious problem.

SA is already underreported as is, and with increasing restrictions to abortion, sex ed, and plan B this whole thing is a recipe for disaster. This is what happens when you let a disgusting CONVICTED sex offender take charge. According to Republicans, this is the ultimate way to protect our children.

Be prepared for more legislation that further relaxes our lax rules on SA, with the way things are going, we might as well make SA legal.

Fuck Donald Trump and everyone that voted for him.

Dear everyone,

Donald Trump just imposed tariffs. I repeat, he actually imposed them on Canada, Mexico, and China. He set a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico with the exception of a 10% tax on oil from Canada because we're reliant on it, and a 10% tax for China.

This is not funny. Canada has explicitly promised retaliation in the form of their own tariffs and cutting off electricity supplies to the US.

Anyone who has basic history knowledge knows that tariffs have almost never worked out in history, and when they have it has been in countries with significantly different situations than ours. The US already has diverse industries and a good economy and firm trade established with other countries. This will ruin that.

Trump will not stop here. He's stated that when March comes, he plans to implement tariffs on the EU too. This would mean tariffs are on all major US trade partners in a month.

This will NOT stop trading. It will not lead to the US becoming more self-reliant. We have far too many people and diverse needs to meet them all independently. Trades will keep happening, just at a higher price. Just slower.

This will drive up prices for everyday goods. This will make things more unaffordable. This will achieve no economic goal except to hurt those who are poor and already in the trenches.

Do you know who receives these tariffs, dear citizens? The government. These taxes go straight from your wallet into the government's pocket. Into Trump's bank account, given he's been shown to take government property before.

Trump's right! These tariffs will benefit him. Just him and him alone.

Florida starts flooding even worse than before

Disability rates and birth abnormalities will increase

Treatment and medication for disabilities become more difficult to access and more expensive

Hospitals become even more business-like than before

Less regulations and standards so they begin upcharging

Hormone therapy will be severely restricted so that even cis women who need estrogen won’t be able to get it

Medical file data breach scandal

Companies will use official diagnoses as a basis to not hire people

Birth control will also be restricted so that you will have trouble accessing it even for medical reasons like PCOS

Polio outbreak which will be prompted by lax vaccine mandates

You can only get a hysterectomy if your husband approves

You’ll need written or verbal permission

In case it wasn't clear yet,

Trump's science denialism is not because he actually believes it, but, like everything else, because it fills his wallet.

After spreading anti-vaxxer narratives throughout the COVID pandemic, he's now taken to giving big tech companies massive bonuses for the purpose of using AI to prototype experimental cancer vaccines.

He was quite simply against COVID vaccines because everybody needed them, so they had to be issued for free and he couldn't make a profit off of then.

Something else to note is the fact that Donald Trump is a drifter, he does whatever he can do to earn as much profit as possible.

He's never been a devout Christian yet he acts as though he is for the sake of getting voters (and thus more money to fill his pockets). He is also notorious for constantly changing his political affiliation to see what gains him the most political power.

He is a serial con man and these idiots fall for it each and every time, It's genuinely astounding how he has followers.

Have you ever thought about Trump's motivation for defunding the DoE?

Yes, he gets more uneducated votes, but it's more than that. He's hoping to actively make public schools so bad that private school becomes the standard even for less rich people. He'll do this by making private schools more accessible and offering vouchers just as Republican presidents have done in the past.

But don't be fooled, he isn't doing this in people's best interest. He's doing it so that more people are forced to attend schools with deregulated curriculums that are allowed to enforce religious teachings. He's hoping that people will be forced to enroll their kids in a Christian school (which is most private ones) where they have to study the Bible so they'll be converted.

He's hoping to create an environment where education standards that are required at public schools don't have to be met. Where education, just like everything else, is in the hands of the rich. Where capitalism controls all, including your kids.

It's a very slippery slope he's heading down. If educational oversight stops, the future generation is at risk of being susceptible to propaganda. They could be fed it in the very place they're learning from.

The housing crisis becomes worse

Gerrymandering gets intense as hell

At least 4 of them will have more than 7 people dead and one will set a new record

Artists’ strike

Like the writers’ strike but for graphic designers and illustrators

This ends up pushing companies further into AI development creating mass unemployment outrage and halting development for games movies and shows for a second

It just sort of dies out and only 2-3 major companies cave

US starts having active election violence

At least millions of dollars will be embezzled

Bonus points if the trump administration gets exposed for it

But it’s so bad we get cooked and the average IQ drops in the US

Trump starts giving private school vouchers to push people away from public schools and into private religious schools which receive more attention
