When are you playing in San Diego next? I always miss it grrrr

Sorry, we don’t have any shows coming up in San Diego (or otherwise) at the moment. We’re still taking the time we need to finish up the next album. We’re always happy to do shows though, so if any opportunities present themselves, we’ll be there!

'Amen' is one of the darkest tracks I've ever heard. When it was first released I was so blown away by it that I had it on repeat all day, and I still feel the same. Thankyou for making music on a whole other level. I still need to remix on of yours, it's so challenging because the originals are always too perfect. Much love! <3

Do you prefer cantina or texmex tacos

Heh, we both grew up in the midwest where authentic street tacos were pretty much completely unheard of. Of course then we moved to San Diego which has some absolutely incredible mexican food... so, I’d say both are great. I think I’ll always prefer the hard shell style of the texmex style though.

Do you ever plan to tour Europe?

In a word: yes.Figuring out how is a little more convoluted with work schedules, finances, etc., but it’s still very much something we plan to make happen.

That’s a very tough list to compile. Here’s a few artists in general that come to mind:Robert Anton Wilson, P. K. How is the band's name pronounced? With an A or a D?

We get this question a lot (understandably and through some purposeful confusion on our part), so we wrote a short note on the subject in case you’re interested in the background of the name.https://www.facebook.com/notes/aimon/on-the-name-aimon/356564674388065The TL;DR answer is:we pronounce it both ways. it started as a sigil that included elements and references to occult traditions relating to both pronunciations, so either is correct.

When can we hear some new tracks??

We initially planned on releasing our new album this year but have had setbacks due to personal life/time constraints. Brant is also currently finishing up a solo album for the German label, audiotrauma, that is set to release in January. That having been said, we’ve got quite a few new tracks that we’ve been performing at our live shows and expect to return our focus towards finishing up the album very soon. Expect to hear from us at the beginning of the year! Thanks for your patience and interest!!

At the beginning, did you contact any labels, or did labels contact you ? And how did it happen ?

Great question! When we first started writing music together, we initially just planned on uploading our songs to soundcloud for our friends to hear. The first and second tracks we recorded were ‘amen’ and our cover of ‘A SCREW’ respectively. Those two tracks drew the attention of the burgeoning witch house scene that was very localized on soundcloud. An Oakland area based label, Tundra Dubs, discovered us there and contacted us directly with the expressed interest of releasing our music (which became the amen EP). We hadn’t reached out to any labels ourselves at the time as we just hadn’t thought much about what other people would feel about our music. The interest and success of the amen EP surprised us and the label though, which inspired us to keep writing! We followed up with the FLATLINER EP on vinyl through Tundra as well. We were very excited to interact with other like-minded artists and began doing remixes to help build the interconnectedness of artists within that community. It was around this time that the industrial scene also started to take interest in our cross-genre style. The Canadian label, Artoffact, reached out to us to do a CD release of the previously vinyl-only FLATLINER EP (with Tundra’s blessing of course). Since then we’ve released our first album with them and have been diligently working on a second full length. It’s been really amazing to see something we do out of love and personal expression be received so well. We hope to carry on for as long as we can!
