You might belong in Hufflepuff, Where they are just and loyal, Those patient Hufflepuffs are true, And unafraid of toil
Loyal: Amy will always stick by her friends. Although she won't always side with her "kind", she will actively support the people and causes that she believes are just.
Hardworking: As someone who came from a background that made it hard for her to fit it, Amy has always worked hard to be able to live the life she wants. She doesn't give up easily, and once she sets her sights on a goal she won't back down until she reaches it.
Impartial: Amy is not one to judge a person on their family or background. She looks at a person for who they are now, and believes that people can redeem for past actions.
Elizabeth Olsen and Jack Huston | Kill Your Darlings (2013)
Second Times the Charm || Lisa & Amy
Amy’s rigid facial features relaxed into a warm smile. It was definitely Lisa, and by the looks of it she recognized her too. One possibly embarrassing situation avoided.
"Lisa, Hi!" She exclaimed, her happy demeanor genuine. As she had few comforting memories to hold onto from her past and even fewer people, Lisa wasn’t one that she still remembered well. A chance meeting in a store had led to a friendship between the two, one that they had both needed. It was only a few days before Amy had to leave town - the area was too lacking in corpses for her taste - but she hadn’t forgotten Lisa.
It had been 9, near 10 years since their last meeting. She wondered what happened, with the baby, with her family, with everything. She was more than curious to hear. “How have you been?” She questioned, brushing the stray hair away from her forehead.
"Hey!" Lisa moved forward, unthinkingly pulling the younger woman in for a brief, albeit genuine, hug. After a moment, she let go, flushing a bit and holding herself at arm’s length. "Sorry. Just… god, it’s so good to see you.”
At Amy’s question, she laughed, watching her hands twisting around themselves. How had she been? Busy. Happy. Distraught. Terrified. “Complicated.” She decided on finally, brushing it off with a shrug of her shoulders. “And you?”
Amy chuckled warmly as Lisa pulled her into a hug. "You too." She smiled, her own mitten clad hands hanging by her sides. "It's been a long time." And it had been. A chance meeting like this wasn't something she ever would have expected, but it was a welcome surprise. "You look great."
She raised a brow curiously at Lisa's admission. "Complicated?" That answer left a lot of questions to be asked. Things were guaranteed to happen in the span of a decade, and she wanted to hear everything Lisa was willing to tell her. "Oh, you know." She shrugged. "I'm good. A lot has happened." She stopped, smiling again as she crossed her arms, pulling her jacket tighter. "What do you say we go get some coffee and talk?"
Becky uses a fake name on all of her identification, legal records, everything. The name she uses is Sarah Rogers.
"Everyone is always surprised by how old I am. They think I’m older, but it’s always been that way. I’m the youngest of four - maybe you grow up quicker because you just watch the big people."
Second Times the Charm || Lisa & Amy
It was cold; one of the colder days Sioux Falls had had yet this winter. The town was more empty than usual, what with all of the smarter residents staying bundled up inside. Unfortunately for Amy, she wasn’t so lucky. An out of the blue call into work had her trudging out in knee deep snow the night before, and once again as she left the next morning.
A cup of coffee in her hand as she left the chain store, she pulled her coat closer around her as the bitter cold once again shocked her system. Even in the sea of white it wasn’t hard to spot her car - it was one of five in the parking lot.
She made a beeline for it, more than ready to go home after a long night, when something caught the corner of her eye - or someone. A woman rummaging around in the trunk of her car. It wouldn’t have struck Amy as anything odd, except for one thing. She recognized that car.
More than a decade ago now. Young, tired, alone; she met a pregnant Lisa Braeden. Amy remembered their conversation, she remembered going off to eat with her - in that car. There was just something in her that knew she was right.
Changing her path of direction, she slowly approached the woman. She didn’t even know if Lisa would remember her. Hell, she didn’t even know for sure if it was Lisa. But it couldn’t hurt to try.
"Lisa?"
The woman spun, all thoughts of her trunk abandoned for that familiar voice—nearly a decade older but still recognizable; still distinctly Amy. It was a miracle she did remember it, considering the fact that she could barely remember what she’d had for breakfast the day before, but the girl had stood out.
Her face broke out into an impossible grin as she recognized the woman—undoubtedly the girl she’d taken to lunch years before. “Amy?”Â

“That’s nice.” She nodded, smiling softly. And it was nice. To have a little suburb house and a mom and a dad and some siblings, with extended family living close enough that you could visit every weekend. School friends could come over without anyone having to worry that they...
Amy smirked, tossing her hand to the side in a flamboyant gesture. "I've been to damn near all of the 50 states and all I got was this lousy magnet collection. Let me tell you though, it took a lot of hard work and dedication to accumulate." She nodded in mock seriousness.
"Oh, I don't know." She shrugged her shoulders in a 'whatever' sort of gesture. Truth was, she had been pretty sure she was going to skip town today, but now she wasn't so sure. The tone of Lisa's voice made her smile a little. Amy wasn't so sure she wanted to give up on the company. "Maybe a few weeks." She said. "I've got no place to be."
