“How can I help you?”
“Stupid person say what?”
❛ did you also hear that ? ❜
Favor for a Favor|| Jo and Open
The blonde stood beside the Honda, which sat, yet again on the side of the road. Running her hands through her hair, she huffed to herself, “Its about time I get something that actually runs.” She shook her head and pulled out her phone, getting ready to call for a tow when another vehicle pulled up beside her. “Are you by any chance offering a ride?” she asked as the window rolled down, letting out a bitter laugh.
Lost on the highway to nowhere || Lottie & Open
The hunter lulled her head back against the plush leather headrest letting it gently swing from side to side as she hummed along to the familiar tune. God knows how long she’d been stuck on the boring road stuck in the traffic that must have been sent from Lucifer himself. Deciding that making funny words from licence plates was just a mind dumbly boring as the traffic queue that seemed to stretch into the horizon she took the first exit off. Allowing her foot to push down on the accelerator causing the Mustang to roar into life after it had idled for so long in amongst the call for the dead. Shifting through the gears she let the engine drink up the petrol and the tyres eat the tarmac. About a three quarters of an hour later she pulled into a dinner, and haphazardly locked the door of Dorothy before shuffling into the establishment. The air was thick with the smell of grease, and everything seemed to ooze the stagnant smell of stale coffee. With a thud she sat down into the nearest booth pulling the menu up to her eyes scanning all the fattening delights that were on offer. The jiggling of the bell above the door caused her to turn her head slightly due to the fact she was the only helpless soul in the area. Her eyes followed the figure.
"Don’t even think about it."
Caught in a trap || Lottie & Open
The brunette pressed her body forcefully against the cold brick wall. Every breath was erratic and her eyes wide. It wasn't often that the hunter went out alone, normally one of her brothers would be by her side. All of her sense were on overload, but all she could hear was silence and all she could see was the pitch black of the room. Tears forced their way out as she tried to think of a way out of the room. Never in her years of as a hunter had she been so petrified and scared.
The case seemed simple and easy. A ghost hunting a house. No description of the ghost was ever given in the countless articles she read about it. All she knew was that people would go into the house and never come out alive. Always found a month later curled up with their eyes missing.
Deciding not to give up she tried all the doors and windows in the room again. No luck all were locked tight. Even the one that in a moment of panic she had shot in an attempt to free herself. Retreating back to a wall she slumped down and brought her legs to her chest as the music that had taunted her an hour ago started up again.
take the night off/adam + open
Adam leaves the dingy convenience store, thoughtlessly scanning the narrow, mostly-empty street for threats. He's been in the City a while now and is becoming more accustomed to being around actual human people again, but still prefers to do most of his moving around at night. Less risk that way.
On the other hand, it gives him whole days to fill up and this one was spent with enough intense mental activity to leave him fairly exhausted. He absent-mindedly digs out his hotel key and shoves his small purchases into the pockets of his jacket...failing to see that his wallet drops to the sidewalk as he does. Not noticing the loss, he starts back down the block towards his hotel.
