If anything my parents have taught me to live within my means and not to spend excessively, alhamdulillah. I always remind myself, how can one spend excessively knowing our brothers and sisters are suffering? Having this reminder helps an awful lot. There are many amazing finds in high-street stores,you just have to look patiently.♥

Hi, I wanted to buy some gorgette or chiffon hijabs but was worried about some of them being see through. From your experience what would you recommend I buy?

Salaam sister, I personally prefer Georgette scarves. I find them far easier to wrap and they tend to stay in place longer than the chiffon scarves I own. Regarding coverage, once you wrap the scarf twice around your head it is completely opaque. However, do consider the quality of the fabric before purchasing the scarves, insha’Allah.♥

Random question who were your favorite authors when you were growing up and present? x

My favourite authors growing up were; Roald Dahl, J.K Rowling and Suzanne Collins. At present, include Charlotte Brontë and Jane Austen. I’m a huge fan of English literature.♥
