Angelica nodded, beaming lightly âThat I can understand. But hope in magic horses doesnât come in that category? If you are gonna fool the kid into thinking Santa, the Tooth Fairy and magic fountains are a thing, you could as well give her some blissful years and let her believe in unicorns. I am more impartial to Pegasus, but she is far too young to get her into Greek Mythologyâ she teased back before tearing her eyes from the man to the girl, shaking her head lightly âHow dare you believe I could ever betray her confidence?â she murmured back with a shrug âI simply need to find a way to make her wish come true on my own. But I am certain you know what she wished forâ her last set of words were barely audible for the two of them, giving him a knowing and apologetic look.
âYou can believe with her, if you want. Although, I never really let her believe in the tooth fairy myself. But a part of that is because she caught me putting the money under her pillow once, she was a really light sleeper. But uh, the big man in red is another story. Itâs different.â He waved it off. âAlthough, I suppose flying reindeer arenât any better than horses with horns.â He listened to her, looking over at her with a raised brow before his expression fell. Of course he knew. âYeah, not sure how youâre gonna make that come true though Angie. I wish you the best of luck.â
