October 24, 2016 when I got here in France. October 30, 2016 was my first sunday and the day when the whole UPC here in Nanterre welcomed me.
When they gave me their hugs and kisses, I know that they were happy.
So months passed, I sometimes went to Sunday service. Sometimes not. I had that struggle going to church because my mind is not there though I knew and felt that the touch of Jesus Christ melted my heart. I was still so stubborn to accept Him.
Then this one parable changed my mind and heart completely. The parable wherein a man found a valuable pearl. To be able to get that he left and sacrifice all the things that he had for that pearl. He willingly gave up all for that pearl. And now the question is? Are you also willing to left and give up all for Jesus Christ? Who gave His own life to save us from our sins.
When I listened to its message, my heart hurts and I cried and cried and realized that all those times I’d been so selfish and self centered. I also cried because i know that I need to leave the person who I thought was the right person for me.
That’s why I asked guidance to our Lord Jesus. Pastor who is also my grandmother told me that Jesus will give you vision kahit wala ka pang Holy Ghost basta pray hard for it. At yun ang ginawa ko.
He definitely gave me the answer na alam kong sobrang mahihirapan akong gawin and i know that is also His way to test me. Dahil alam ko naman mali ang relasyon na meron ako but pinagpilitan ko to. Nagmahal eh!
Breaking up with him was very hard. God knows how much i love that person. But that’s the only way for me para simulan ko lumakad ng may katuwiran sa harap ng Panginoon. Because how can i be righteous when i am in the wrong relationship?
August 07,2017, when i decided to accept Jesus and was baptized. Ganon pala yun? The feeling that all the burden, hurt and anger was washed. Sobrang gaan sa pakiramdam. Sobrang saya. Sobrang saya kase alam kong all my sins was buried and hindi na dapat pa itong balikan because i have a new life now with Jesus Christ.
Akala ko yung saya na yun during Baptism in water na ang pinakamasayang pakiramdam na mararamdaman ko sa presensiya ng Panginoon hindi pa pala dahil kanina sa sunday service August 13, 2017 when i received the Holy Ghost. Baptism in Spirit. Iba ang pakiramdam pag ang Spirit ng Panginoon ay nasa iyo. You just feel happy and contented. Na ayaw mo nang matapos yung sandali na yun na kausap mo ang Panginoon. Na ngayon alam mo na na hindi ka na talaga magiisa dahil the Spirit of our Lord is in you. Na lahat ay gagawin mo for His Glory. That you will entrust all your life to Him because in Him no things will go wrong.
Dati i asked myself kung bakit ganun sila mgworship sa Panginoon and ganun nalang nila i-praise ang pangalan Niya. And now it was answered, that is because they have that deep faith, love and connection with Lord Jesus na ngayon ee meron narin ako.
