Character Development: Myers-Briggs
Archie is what is known as the Campaigner personality. He fits into a crowd, enjoys the fun of a good party not for the party itself but for the games that they contain. Like a puzzle, Archie enjoys seeing how all the pieces fall together and where he will sit for the night. He loves the analytical parts of the social game nearly as much as he loves the social pieces. He doesn’t simply sit on the sidelines for anything in life. He’s an active participant in all aspects.
Much like his work with the goblins, however, he gets easily bored or stifled if he’s stuck in a task or group for too long. He wants to be able to move freely. His role needs to change often or else he will begin to feel trapped. This is a detriment to Archie as he hates to rock the boat in front of people who are too close to his social circles.
Sure, Archie thought he and Isla were signing up for some fast-and-loose group of activists, something that he could pick up on the weekends without too much worry about his own safety. Now, however, he’s trapped and starting to feel that itch. Especially since he has a wife and child to worry about.
