Some of our parents reflections after PTM
Extra-curricular activities help students to learn about themselves and develop and use their skills and knowledge in different contexts
Students can also use these activities to explore interests they've never encountered, exposing students to a more diverse range of interests in students
We have started clubs to explore & encounter hidden skills of our kids.
Have a look at some of the art works
Our Sr Kg students participated in online Fancy dress competition. Let’s take a look at our creatively dressed participants.
We celebrated “My family day” with our KG kids to build a strong relationship between our students & parents. They all expressed their thoughts by making different creations using household things & shared their views using padlets
Our school has started “Grocery & Mask Seva Bank” to support families of our students in COVID Pandemic.
Gender Equality is a principle that states that all men and women need to be treated equally and to have the same rights despite their biological differences. These should not prevent them from having the same opportunities to succeed in school and in life.
Our designer students created posters to show their reflections.

What are you working towards and why did you decide to do this? We are working towards Gender Equality and education for girls too. We decided to do this because some parents don't send girls to school or for jobs. We want to challenge the stereotype and break these barriers so that every child can have excellent education and take our country forward. How are you working towards this? We are going door to door in our community and talking to family members to find out why they don't send their daughters to school. We have found that they don't send them because they believe daughters should take care of a household since after marriage that's what they'll be doing anyway. They feel it is a waste of time or useless to send a girl to school if she won't be using her education. Describe your journey. We have learned to treat boys and girls equally and to not be sexist. We performed a play to teach 3rd graders about gender equality and the importance of sending girls to school just as much as boys. I think what went well was that all the kids were excited and passionate about sending girls to school and they went home to their families to share that. We don't give up when there are challenges. We try our best to overcome them and move forward and keep trying. How are you making a positive difference to others? We are making a positive difference because we are showing girls it is their right to be educated and we are helping open the minds of the parents. Some of them are actually listening and sending their girls to school. Some of them don't take us seriously

What are you working towards and why did you decide to do this? We decided to conduct a session on gender inequality and gender roles. We wanted to work on treating boys and girls equally and not expecting only girls to do household chores and boys to relax because we have to restore balance. We want to break stereotypes and end gender inequality. How are you working towards this? We performed a skit in a 5th grade classroom showing the contrast between a family where a son was being allowed to go for a job and the girl not allowed, and another family with equal treatment of a son and a daughter. We then conducted an activity in the same class by making boys prepare sandwiches, proving that cooking and household chores aren't just for girls. They're for everyone and everyone can and should help out. We wanted to spread awareness. Describe your journey. I have learned that boys and girls should be equal but not everyone believes that. I have also learned that we are able to change the minds of people who think girls and boys cannot be equal by spreading awareness and giving examples. We feel the performance went smoothly. Everyone was happy for us and the kids were engaged throughout. How are you making a positive difference to others? Now that we are doing this, we are getting people to challenge stereotypes and realize there is a gender bias problem. That's a start. We are being role models. We are making girls feel confident that they can do anything they want to do. They won't just be stuck cooking or cleaning or raising children. Now the world is changing.
