2017 Solar Eclipse Chase - My Missouri Trip

I’ve begun to plan my trip! Only a little late. But that’s okay. I couldn't make my mind up on what I wanted to do.

I’m attempting to call and see if there are any camp reservations left along the Missouri path. If not, no big deal. 

Oh - and I plan to be on my kayak when it is 100% eclipsed.

How To: Paddle Decal Application

Step 1: Clean the surface. I cleaned with dish soap and water. Then I did an alcohol rub down just for fun.

Step 2: Peel the Decal from the backing, but do not remove the Decal from the front sheet.

Step 3: Apply the Decal with the front sheet to your surface. Once you get it on. Take the backing paper and rub rub rub. Sometimes pulling off the transfer paper can lift the Decal.

Step 4: Admire your Decal. Let it sit a while before using your paddle.

Hammock Tarp Set Up 

My hammock tarp arrived yesterday and today I get to test it out.

Some stray chickens visited and hung out while I was setting up. I think they approve.

Adventures in backyard chickens - in the kitchen. 

The heat index in Oklahoma got up to 105 the last I checked. My chickens were panting and had their wings out. I thought I'd feed them dinner in the kitchen to let them chill out. 

 My dog isn't sure what to think about that sometimes.
