// i'm off to bed. I'll do replies tomorrow. Goodnight!
Jenny punched the code into the pad in the adjacent room and pushed the door steadily. Everyone had left, and she had managed to acquire the pass code from a drunk scientist at the pub, mostly with a few smiles. Other things had occurred, but it had been worth it.
She clicked the safety on her gun, and as she heard glass smash, she whirled around “Oh! Are you a lab assistant? I um…left some paperwork here” she wasn’t weary a lab coat. She was in a pair of tight jeans and a loose, tucked in shirt. She had no ID on her. Rookie mistake “If you’ve broken in too, I’m just here for computer files and some supplies” she smirked.
Rose opened her mouth, but no words left. She looked back at the door for a moment, contemplating whether or not she should leave quickly or stick around. She decided on the latter. Oddly enough, she wasn't the only one breaking into the high security laboratory. Though she highly doubted the woman was simply a curious being. "Why are you breaking in'ere?" Rose asked, almost innocently, as though something similar could possible pass through her mind. "if anyone found out-" she shook her head, realising she was wasting time before digging through the drawers.
It wasn't unlikely for the woman to be here for the same reason she was. Then again.."Sorry, but why are you here?"
"I’ve got t’ stop lettin’ the TARDIS go wherever she pleases, always end up in the strangest places when I do."
"I don't think this place is strange. Well, I mean, Its got - character."
"...Rose?"
"Good Rassilon...what in blazes are you doing here??"
Rose jumped at the sound of her name, but didn't show signs of caving. "I could ask you the same thing." she retorted. He didn't look like he worked in the lab, she reckoned she would've been arrested by now if he did. She walked around the broken glass to avoid making any more noise "Who are you, anyway?"
Rose ducked, narrowly missing a lantern almost hitting her head. She rubbed her eyes sleepily, realising just how tired she was. This had only happened once before, when she had left the parallel world. But this wasn't the parallel world, this didn't even look like her home. She just woke up there, in a heap on the ground near an awfully busy marketplace. Rose pushed herself off the ground, rubbing dirt uselessly from her jeans and tried to straighten out her hair. No one was watching her, or seemed to notice she was even there. Only one man was visible through the thick buzzing crowds. Realising that was a good place to start, she feebly tapped the man on the shoulder. "Hi, sorry! What's the name of this, um...town?"
When muns are like this. It makes you want to rp more.
Rose waited until everyone had left before sneaking in behind the last person to lock up. It wasn't late but the laboratory was draped in darkness nevertheless. It was clear to her from the beginning that if she was caught in here after closing, she wasn't going to get off lightly for it. But she just had to find out whether those re-occurring lights over the building the past nights were extraterrestrial. It wouldn't have been a surprise if it was, due to the rumours that surrounded the place. Unfortunately, she didn't expect someone to be there when she arrived. Rose tried to freeze, but in the process knocked over a test tube. There was nowhere to hide. That time she successfully, though reluctantly froze and waited for the inevitable.

“My, that’s a lot of you! Lookit you all…One, two, three, four…” He mumbled the remaining numbers under his breath, laughing gently. “Eleven! Huh…Well. Come to see the Doctor then, have you?” Granted, some of them were him… But close enough.
"You seem awfully enthusiastic." Rose replied thoughtfully "Its just I saw that blue box back there," looking in the direction as she spoke "And, well it's not like you get many of those in London, is it?" she countered with a small laugh "Its jus' - I mean, I've been lookin' for him- the Doctor. For a long time. And, well.. you seem to know him. Where is he?"
"I really need a new wardrobe. This outfit just doesn’t suit this body right now."
"No, it looks - it looks great!"
"Me? Well, I was just wandering around. By the way, you look familiar."
"Wanderin'? You just summed up my life."
"Do I? I don't think we've met before. Or maybe we have, I'm not good with faces. Well - I'm Rose, if that sums anything up for you."

He kneeled there, in front of the grave. K-9 was back with him now, as the pet was a gift to Sarah Jane, no one else seemed wanting to keep it for the time being. The Doctor pressed a hand there on the grave, leaving a single flower standing perfectly in the middle and stood up again, releasing a big amount of breath. Hearing a voice, he was lost in his thoughts and while the voice was so familiar, he was lost in his memories, memories of his adventures with Sarah Jane.
"She was my best friend for a long time. Always there." The Doctor said with a sigh and pressed a sad smile to his lips. "My Sarah Jane. I was late here…I never thought something like this could’ve happen to her. I just…didn’ think she would be gone.” He shakes his head in shame, like if this was his fault and turned to stare at the stranger.
But it wasn’t no stranger to him. The face he could recognize any day, any time of his life. However he didn’t say anything. How could he tell her he changed yet again? Instead he cleared his throat. “And you?”
Rose frowned, still staring fixedly at the grave. She knew the feeling, who would've thought, after everything Sarah had been though, that one day she'd be gone. Just like that.
A soft smile tugged at her lips, but didn't reach her eyes. "Oh, we go way back." It was cruel she spent as little time with Sarah-Jane as she did. When there was plenty opportunity for more.
"She was a good friend of mine too." Rose said finally. "'m sorry- for your-your loss." she got out, in a choked sort of voice. "At least she can finally retire now." she laughed half-heartedly at the inside joke, she turned to the stranger and shrugged "She was always complaining about journalism."

He guessed it was time to do the right thing. It has been a while since he found out about it. Too long for him, not that much since it happen on Earth. Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart had passed away while he was on his farewell tour about a year ago, when he thought he would be dying at the hand of the Silence. All of his lost friends were dying. First the Brigadier and now, next thing he knew his Sarah Jane would be gone too. “Hello old friend.” He said looking at the cementary, the graveyard was lonely and he stood there, looking at the words.
He knew he would be proud of Kate. And he knew by Sarah’s word that they had meet again, which he loved. “I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you, mate. Guess I spend too much time running.” The Doctor looked down, his features showing how concerned and tormented he was by his death. By Sarah’s probably. His friends either way were gone.
It was late by the time Rose got to the graveyard. She hadn't had any intentions of doing anything other then dinner reservations that night, but they were easily blown off once she'd found out. She never knew, never thought to find out how Sarah-Jane had been lately; not since her last visit. Despite the unfortunate disagreement they'd had when they first met, Sarah-Jane had become such a good friend of hers, it was devastating to find out she'd passed away.
Once collecting a bouquet of flowers, she headed for the graveyard. The fact it was close to 10pm didn't bother her. She never expected someone to be there when she arrived though, but for someone looking so sad, she didn't think he was some sort of dangerous person who loved hanging around graves. She swept passed him slowly, setting down the flowers. "Did you know her well?" Rose asked politly, noticing just how distraught he looked.

"Hi! What're you doin' round here?"
The Doctor was torn between inspecting Rose, and his old blue box. What was she talking about? Where had she been for the last few days come to think of it. “Rose! It’s just the TARDIS, come on, lets go.” he sprung up, enthusiastically bounding through the TARDIS doors.
The TARDIS seemed to loom over her, its obvious attitude was enough to keep her out. For some reason, she could not, and frankly did not want to enter that box anyway. "Er, s'cuse me?" Rose called, from the same spot standing outside "I can't get in there." she didn't look the slightest bothered but quickly added "an' why would I want't?"
