I’m kinda putting Colin on hiatus because school is kicking my ass and I just don’t have the creative muse I need to play him right now. It sucks because I want to but I’m just so busy right now that I don’t have the time. I’m looking forward to fall and winter breaks. I miss you guys.

She embraced Colin in a loose headlock and ruffled his hair affectionately.  ”I knew there was a reason I wanted to meet you.”

Colin snorted and before he could reply he was pulled into a headlock. Laughing, he let out a slightly squeaky “Hey!” before he could pull away and fix his hair. He stuck his tongue out at her playfully.

“Why would you wanna meet me? I mean you.. you’re really cool. I just kinda get big and ugly and smash peoples faces in.”

“Cool?” she queried skeptically.  ”Nobody’s called me cool in a very long time.  If ever.”

Barbara touched his cheek.  ”Anybody who can manage to be a friend of Damian’s is definitely worth notice, and you seem like you can take all of his gloom and doom.”

She wondered what the two boys did for fun.  Damian was never really inclined to conventional play, and seemed on the surface to be the diametric opposite in behavior and outlook to the Colin’s sunnier disposition.

"No way. I don't believe you. People have to call you cool a lot. Cause you are. And the things you do! Come on!" Colin really didn't believe her. She was the freaking Oracle! And he'd been told that she was a batgirl once and that was just cool by itself. 

Smiling at Barbara, he shrugged a little. "He's not all gloom and doom. He's really sweet when he wants to be and when no one's looking. He bought me a box of teddy bears for my birthday."
