did she hear him right? no. ‘you’re worth the entire world’. georgie was just hearing things… yeah. abraham wouldn’t say something like that to her. but her heart still skips a beat at the possibility. it was too good to be true though and she quickly pulled herself out of her head and back to the conversation. it was her turn to say something she may regret… “no one else cares enough to make sure i’m okay,” she kept her eyes away from his, not wanting to seem even more vulnerable than she already was with just the words alone. shaking her head at herself, she needed to get out of the room with just him so she began to lead him down the stairs and back towards the crowd. “i said it can’t be non-alcoholic,” she grinned, thankful for the noise of the music and people talking. it was making it impossible to be inside her head right now. “this pink lemonade vodka was really good. this guy gave me some earlier and i really want more. i’m too sober anyways,” she lied, reaching for the vodka and tipping far too much into a cup before taking a couple sips from it and coughing as she lowered it back down. “try it. pleaseeee,” she held it out to him, not realizing that her other hand was still holding onto his.
