A tease made in jest, yet sadly her monotone way of speaking didn't really do her many favors, it's one of the downsides to being a bit hollow emotionally; no life behind her voice. Nevertheless, she was trying her best.
Being the boss of a group like his; it was easy to sense how stressed out it made him. It gave the same vibes as running an important business; being at the top while running free unchecked even if one should be. She's had experience with a person like that, only Corbeau is far more likable. Although she was originally supposed to on a vacation; admittedly, she had come to resonate a little with the syndicate, and what they were trying to do for Lumiose.
The people of the city were being tossed to the wayside in order to make space for wild pokemon; both tame and dangerous. It put people's lives at risk, having to abandon their homes or made it dangerous to even set food on the street to return to their abodes; with the looming fear said beasts lurking beyond the door could strike in their slumber when they so pleased. It wasn't right, it wasn't fair.
And for what? Some fleeting dream of living in harmony? That's like walking into a lion's den and thinking one can domesticate them on the spot. It was a dangerous game where on flimsy move can make it all go wrong.
But..
that's not the matter at the moment.
She'd pull out two fresh bottles of wine from behind her back, before clunking them down onto the boss's desk.
