Nothing can contend with the fluffy of a barn owl!

I don’t usually post content where I volunteer. Mainly because the birds there aren’t falconry birds. That said, this video is cool and I want to share it.

This is called a rouse, and it’s the sign of a content, happy raptor. I’ve noticed its rare for owls to do, so I feel blessed that Jasper felt comfortable enough to do it in front of me.

Jasper is an education bird at a licensed center. He is not my bird nor a pet.
