felt inspired to do this because it’s honestly probably a good idea (and i will likely pin this since i’m mobile and can’t access my pages rn) but would like to state with full transparency that knives is the main antagonist in trigun and regardless of what his established backstory may be, he blatantly discusses and verbalizes opinions about humanity that are polarizing - for good reason! there’s discussion of ecofascism and genocide and the morality of condemning one people in order to save another and both are very clearly established as wrong for their own reasons, and knives is definitely not meant to be a forgivable character, no matter what intent may be. i do not endorse his actions, etc, but also a LOT of that dialogue will be dialed back significantly, just for… everyone’s sakes, really
there will be sprinklings of his disdain for humanity tossed in to this blog’s daily postings, and he will be abrasive and cruel and dismissive, but i’m not going to do a deep dive into any of those kinds of conversations because a tumblr rp blog is not the platform to have those kinds of nuanced discussions. he will reference what happens in the work in regards to the plants vaguely, but i’m going to make a point for it not to be all he talks about
if his presence adjacent to everything else about trigun is something that makes anyone uncomfortable or the like, please, god, by all means soft block me. i will understand. these sorts of things that are explored in works can oftentimes be disconcerting topics for people and this is all ultimately about enjoyment of a pastime
