Welcome to Ace Atoony!
A Choose-Your-Own-Adventure experience of Toontastic proportions awaits you! Before stepping into the courtroom, please take the time to review the rules here. Remember to play fair, have fun and stay Toony!
What is Ace Atoony?
Ace Atoony is an interactive crossover project between Disney’s Toontown Online (operating within the canon of the Private Server Toontown Rewritten) and Capcom’s Ace Attorney franchise. Users can “play” by submitting commands to the inbox of this account.
NOTE: As Ace Attorney is a series largely focused around Murder Mysteries, this account will contain various scenes and depictions of death, blood and other disturbing occurrences. Posts will be tagged appropriately and player discretion is advised.
What Commands can I use?
Both segments of play, Trials and Investigations, will require specific sets of commands
Trials:
Press Statement [#]
Present [Evidence/Profile] on Statement [#]
Point to X (when examining maps, photographs or other closeup evidence)
Check [Evidence]
Investigations:
Talk to [Name]
Examine X
Teleport/Move to X
Present [Evidence/Profile] to [Name]
When presented with a Multiple-Choice prompt, such as answering a question or bringing up topics of conversation during an Investigation, players may simply submit the specific answer choice.
Example:
The blood was coming from the Victim’s:
Head
Hands
Heart
Player submission: Head
What happens if I answer incorrectly?
During Trial segments, Penalties can be applied to incorrect or irrelevant submissions by taking hits to your Laff Meter. Up to 7 penalties can be issued before your Laff runs out and the Trial ends in a Guilty verdict.
So if we lose the Trial, the game is just over?
Should the players lose the Trial, gameplay will be suspended for 24 hours before being allowed to return to the last choice made and try again. All penalties will be reset by that point.
How much time do I have to make a submission?
Take as long as you need and remember, you’re not playing alone. The story will keep moving forward as long as submissions are being sent in.
Where can I find my Evidence and Suspect Profiles?
All evidence and profiles can be viewed by clicking the Court Record tab at the top of the page in Desktop Mode and will be updated to reflect the current findings of each case. The Court record will also appear on certain posts for review whenever relevant.
Am I allowed to submit regular questions or Roleplay requests to this account?
Normally, the inbox will be closed between Turnabouts.
If an In-Character Q&A event is opened, an announcement will be made prior.
If you have any questions for the Mod, please direct them to the appropriate personal account @toonirl
Roleplay prompts or requests will not be acknowledged in order to keep this account’s already existing story on track.
Thanks for playing, and Good Luck, Attorneys!
