i've been really dysphoric lately, so i'm currently thinking A LOT about wei wuxian (a cisgender man during his first life) learning the horrors of debilitating dysphoria as he navigates life with mo xuanyu's body, a transgender man that had no acess to gender affirming care whatsoever before going through the body offering ritual

earlier this year there was this special lecture happening at my university and one of my professors (really sweet middle aged lady) saw me sitting by myself at the auditorium and promptly asked "hey, where's your soulmate?"

the question confused me for two whole seconds until i realized my professor was referring to my uni best friend because we're pretty much attached at the hip and IT IS actually a very weird sight to see either of us alone on campus. i smiled and explained that my friend had just texted me telling she was going to be a little late that day so I was saving her seat until she got there. my professor smiled back at me, so brightly, so sincere, then said "oh, that's great! we can't have one of you without the other!"

anyway i think about this interaction a lot.

also i do believe something like that happened to gojo and geto when they were teenagers
