I don’t really want kids. People think I’m crazy, it’s not that I hate kids I adore and love them. I don’t want to bring a kid into a world where they have to deal with stresses in life that bring them to the point the want to kill themselves or feel terrible about themselves 24/7.

This is kind of my opinion as well, but the more I thought about it the more I realized this is the reason that I should/want to have children. Because I can look at past generations and see their major flaws and use those to mold how I raise a child. Not only that but there's so many beautiful things in the world that I would want to show them and let them experience.

So yes there's a lot of depressing factors to life, but if a child is brought up in a safe and educated environment then they could actually be way better off and you would be a big part of that.

Literally the only reason I want to have children eventually.

a dude came into work looking for vitamin d drops for his newborn so I grabbed the cheapest ones off the shelf (which happened to be Dora the Explorer brand, they were on sale and it was a sweet deal???) and he was like “Um excuse me could I have another brand? my child’s a boy.” like okay buddy i was just trying to save you $5, didn’t mean to threaten your hours-old newborn child’s masculinity omfg
