As far as I'm concerned everything about Adam in the original Saw script is canon. I don't care that a lot of it didn't make the final cut. The movie doesn't really contradict his original characterization as much as it just... left most of it out. It treats Adam more like a plot device while the original script treated him more like a character.

(I feel the exact opposite about Lawrence though. Cary singlehandedly makes that character likeable to me lmao)

And the camera pans down and the job is surveillance on this random doctor...
