I feel extremely blessed and thankful for my life. I am now the king of Athens with a beautiful wife, Ariadne. I have done many things as king such as leading my army into many successful battles, and binding all the cities of Greece together in a tight alliance. Someday, I hope to return to Crete to reclaim the crown of Minos which I had once recovered from the sea. To this day, I still wonder what is going on with my father Poseidon, and Aegeus because I haven't heard from him in a while.
I hope to continue my successful reign as the King of Athens and by being a good king to everyone, and a good husband to Ariadne.
You may hear from me occasionally.

The trip back to Athens was a joyous celebration with many feasts and celebrations. I felt so drunk and happy, that I felt a tug in the corner of my mind that I may have forgotten to something, but I cannot seem to put my finger on it.
Friday, May 20, 1:00 pm
Ariadne came to my rescue by helping me up, and from there I knew that we would be off to Athens.
I outsmarted Minos, so he kept to his word and released all the hostages. He even agreed to let me take Ariadne with me to Athens, and his other daughter Phaedra came along with me too. It was time to sail back to Athens.

I cannot believe I defeated the Minotaur and saved the victims. Now to retell this story for everyone to hear...
I first jumped onto the Minotaur’s head, refusing to be shaken off easily. I then jumped off the Minotaur as he tried to strike me, and I smashed my fists between his horns, full on the skull. I raced towards him and broke the horn off at his base before he could strike again.
I knew he was growing weak, but I wasn't going to stop just yet.
He tried charging towards me, and bone cracked against bone as I dueled him. He was stronger than me, which forced me back I was pinned against the hedge. I disengaged, ducked past him, and raced to the center of the meadow, where I stood ready to fight him again. I used the pointed horn as a weapon, and I hurled the weapon into his neck, deep enough for it to come out of the other side.
The Minotaur tried to trample me by knocking me to the ground violently. Yet the stab wound in his neck, stopped him from stabbing me so he staggered over and fell on the ground next to me.
This is it.... I defeated the Minotaur

A bit of an update before I fight the Minotaur.
The Minotaur is the most fearsome creature I have ever encountered. This creature is ten feet tall, shaped like a man with the head of a bull. This fills mw with a kind of horror that is beyond fear, I just don't know how to describe this.
Still, I cannot give up and turn back.

Ariadne still keeps to her word by giving me the ball of silk and I look at her now and realize that I really do love her. She is still afraid of losing me, but I try to tell her that I will not avoid the Minotaur no matter what she says.
Stay tuned with news on my battle with the Minotaur
There is something about Ariadne that makes me want to love her. She promises that she will save me by giving me a ball of silk that will help lead me out of the Labyrinth. But I know that I have to fight the Minotaur even if I have to upset her.

After a long meeting with King Minos, and having to prove to him that I am the song of Poseidon, I strike a deal with him that I will carry no sword or weapon when I fight the Minotaur. He knows that I am a threat to him so he is trying to make my meet with the Minotaur harder than it is already. I just have to wait until tomorrow until I meet the Minotaur... stay tuned.
About to meet King Minos

There is nothing more depressing than seeing all of the victims feeling lost and defeated. They must stand strong in a time like this, but I can see the look of defeat on their faces. I know I must give them faith and hope so I will help them train to give them something worthy to fight for. I know my father will be proud of me for helping people in a time of need, but I’m doing this for them because these young people are too young to live without hope.

After talking with Aegeus, I find out many things.
Athens was defeated in a war with Crete, and was forced by King Minos to pay a terrible tribute. He demanded that each year, 7 beautiful women and 7 of the strongest men of Athens were to be taken into the Labyrinth and offered as a sacrifice to the Minotaur; a terrible half men and half bull monster.
And of course, me being the person that I am, I offered to go as one of the 7 young men to take my chances with this monster.
I left Aegeus for Crete and he prayed that the gods will protect me from harm’s way. I know I promised him something important...... something about the white sails.
Monday, May 15, 1:30 pm
After exploring Athens, I meet Aegeus and I find that he is in a very weak position so I cannot be a real prince. My father’s powerful cousin apparently is the mastermind behind everything. Did I come to Athens for nothing? Is my journey here useless? How can I fight an entire army?
The most beautiful city that I have ever seen. The arbors and terraces and marble temples are gorgeous.

Today is the day I’m leaving my village and my mother. This feels almost unreal that I was the chosen one, according to the oracle at Delphi, to remove the sword from the stone, and now I’ll be starting my journey. I’m excited to start my journey, but most importantly, I will really miss my mother, but I know that she will have faith in me that good things will happen to me.

So my real father is Poseidon, the king of the sea?! The strength I received is from Poseidon?! A seagull talks?!
The man that conceived my mother was Poseidon, and not Aegeus, the king of Athens. My real father, Poseidon, has been watching over me for all these years, and according to the seagull, he plans great and terrible things for me. This sounds scary, but I know I have the courage within me.
The seagull tells me that I will receive an unexpected gift tomorrow, and then I must bid my mother farewell by going to Athens to visit Aegeus.
I really don't know how to take this all in.

“Do not fear your enemy’s size, but use it against him.”
I have always been called the weakling growing up, but I have overcome my fear and my weakness by finally standing up for myself.
I stood up to my bully and I beat him, so I know I cannot cower in fear anymore, and I must be the bigger person.
