Ok is it bad that I could stare at a GIF of Magnus's eyes changing from "normal' to his beautiful cat eyes for hours on end and be fascinated as hell?

If you’re bad, then I’m bad too.

It makes me all tingly. One moment he’s Magnus, and the next his demon is coming out like “You called, motherfucker?”

It’s the whole package really. His movements so far are very fluid and seductive, and this is even as he’s making his way over to threaten the shit out of some Circle douchebags. The way he talks sounds like caramel poured over razorblades - beautiful and pleasant to the ears but you know he’s gonna fuck your shit right up. Even the quickness of his hand when he decides he’s had enough and wants to cause some pain.

There’s a twist and a flick in his wrist there that’s so fast and smooth that even a gif can’t capture it. Did anyone else notice this? Just whoaw.

It’s already ten times more Magnus than we got in the film, and he got to keep his pants on. All hail Harry Shum Jr.

All that mirrors my feelings exactly.

Ever since I’ve seen the clips, I am so pumped up to see all of the Magnus that Harry can show to us, if that makes any sense. I just keep thinking, why aren’t people talking more about it…? His fluid moves and the just right infliction in his voice… it all comes together so visibly naturally and how can one not applaud that?

I could read like a hundred comments and if one of them is negative that’s my day ruined. That’s me. I’m going to have a horrible day. Um, So I, like, when I read the comments or it’s like “oh Jace doesn’t have gold eyes” then I go, okay, it’s - it’s almost always something like, and there’s so few of them, but it’s almost always something to do with physical appearance. And to me, Jace is so much more than that. So much more than that. In the same way that everyone here is, everyone in the world, is so much more than the way they look. They’re developed inside as human beings, we’re products of our environment, and our upbringing, and we are who we are. Not because of how we look, but because of how we behave. And I feel like that’s the same with all of these characters, and people forget that, that they don’t look necessarily the right way - or in your head, it’s difficult because when someone reads a book no two people are going to have the same interpretation of what this character looks like so, um, it’s difficult to kind of find the balance between that. And I think - I think we stayed pretty close which I’m very happy with. And on the whole, the 99.9 percent of people seem to be very supportive which is so wonderful to us. Um, but to me, Jace isn’t about how he looks. He’s about how he behaves. And who he is as a person.

Reasons you shouldn't judge shadowhunters based on the 7 minute clip

-McG said the pilot isn’t even done yet -Matt Daddario said that they had stuff “complete enough” to show people which means as far as he knows they still have work to do -that was literally the very first scene they ever shot so yeah they are still getting a feel for the show/each other/their characters -the cgi will never look 100% “real” because the stuff they use the cgi for in the show isn’t stuff that ever actually happens - did you see Magnus’s eyes????? THOSE WERE AMAZING -watch Dom in the trailer he’s a perfect Jace okay -the demons looked awesome!!!!! -Alberto Rosende is perfect fight me -the promo was really cool and really pretty so of course they’re going to make show just as good
