I just love learning things and with crochet, learning new projects is endless.  So many things to discover and to make. 

One of the projects I have learned doing were hats.  These are some of the hats that I have tried making.

Chemo caps

My mom has ovarian cancer and her battle is ongoing.  From day one up to the present, I have been her personal companion to all her chemo therapies.  I would usually sit in a corner and crochet while she’s in the infusion unit.  The love for making chemo caps started there. 

Below are just some of the chemo caps I have made for the angels who are continuously fighting the big C.

Crazy for Doilies

When I was a little girl, I would see my mom making crochet doilies and I have always wanted to learn how to crochet.  I tried but I never had the patience for it back then. 

I have always thought that doilies are very difficult and complicated to make.  And after my first attempt with it, I became very addicted to it.

How it all started...

My addiction to crochet started after D bought me a Samsung Galaxy tab and I cannot find a sleeve for it.  (Well, I found some but I cannot take how expensive and ordinary looking they looked).  So instead, we went to Overflow and bought myself a ball of cotton crochet thread.

I couldn’t find the photo of my ever first crochet project but it looks something like the ebook reader sleeve I made below.
