Share your most favorite Hollow Knight theory. Considering that I'm fairly new to the community— I'm curious over the most logical and popular takes the community has made.

I've read through the theories in the reblogs, and I've found them intriguing. Some details make a lot of sense, while others just spice up the story further, giving more depth to the characters.

My personal favorite that I've had the chance to encounter was the theory regarding the vessels behaving like the Hollowed/Undead (much like the Dark Souls term), considering that the Void consumes the living out of the eggs cast into the Abyss, and how these Undead Vessels consume Soul in order to act like living beings. There's a similarity here to the consumption of Humanity in Dark Souls, where becoming less Hollow requires that same process in order to appear more human.

And as a Dark Souls fan, noticing the similarities between both concepts was so endearing to me.

I have come to realize that making connections with people requires a lot of effort. The spark is there, or perhaps barely visible, at the beginning. Expecting someone to reciprocate, or even simply listen to you, has become a luxury I rarely ever find lately. It was only at the beginning of this year that I decided, "Why not meet new people?"

Must I say, part of me regrets making these efforts. They drained so much of my energy that I eventually retreated into my comfort zone once more. I firmly believe now that one should give their attention to those who equally value them, and it has been blissful to have those people around me.

I have just gotten the chance to fight Grimm at Godhome, a great pleasure to master the boss so I was fortunate enough to study his moveset.

Made me realize; some of his movements resemble Hornet's which had me wonder if his caretaker was a Weaver— just like how the Grimmchild's caretaker is the Knight
