The latest thing I drew, I see progress and stuff, am reasonably happy with it.

This is a friend of mine, who I call Pavs. She’s some sort of lala or something, mostly used her as practice.

So I finished the thing I was doing, pretty happy with it, considering the awkward angle and such. It was a fun challenge and I’m glad I did it... I probably could’ve added some more detail to the not highlit hair, but w/e.

Testing things, working on new styles, mostly just posting ‘cause I haven’t in a while. One Adeata, looking at something probably. Done quick, and definitely not done done.

I drew a thing! part of the FC summer series I’m apparently doing. This is Aelin, the freshest of potatoes. I really just got a good screenshot and had to run with it. Tried new things, practiced some stuff, definitely feel like I’m improving.

It’s been forever since I posted anything! I need to post more frequently! Anyway, have a Yuki, swimsuit edition (which is a thing I plan on doing for my FC, s’just a matter of actually doing it, and maybe working on backgrounds [also highlighting, I just needed to move on])

I’ve been working on this one for too long. Trying out hard shading and stuff, and throwing my skills under the bus. 

This is the Beli, good friend of the FC and the me. Also Angel’s other half, and occasionally calls me “sensei” which is..interesting. Regardless, fun to have around up for a good chat most of the time.

Weeeee, drawing friends! Mostly for practice, but I think I’m improving, and doing everything in one day was a good way to gauge progress. I’m gettin’ there.

Anyway, meet the Angel, (short for Angellise), friend of the FC and just generally pretty great person. I had fun with this one, learned some new things, and I hope she likes it too.

Still finalizing the captions, but this is the (almost) end result, I think I’m probably gonna redo Bren though. Also please not my awful awful writing, it’s something special.

Meet the crew of Intensely Casual, the people I play video games with, and what they go by in XIV.

Last of the current crew: Me (Adeata/Ade). Resident sorta artisty person, crafter, and jack of all trades. Also technically the leader of our FC, but that’s more “I found the people” and less “I’m in charge”.

Our resident popoto, largest laugher, smallest frame. Meet the Aelin: Samurai by trade, vegetable by race. Possibly the hardest worker we’ve got. Very glad he joined our ranks, he’s pretty great. 

Shading to follow, just getting flats done first, as per nearly all the other ones of these.

New job been keepin’ me from drawing, but here’s a guy I drew a while ago. He is the Dugri, main protagonist and best tank.

I’m back in action! Got a new job, it’s slowing me down, but it won’t stop me!

This time it’s our actual healer and spawner of S rank hunts. Meet the Avende, resident Astro and the one we ask “How do you put up with us?” to the most. Shading and such to come later, as per the rest of these “XIV crew” thingums I’ve done so far.

...I think I draw Kat a lot, likely due to Kat being the one who asks for it the most.

This time it’s Kat’s role in the WIP group shot thing I’m doing. Kat’s all samurai-y and stuff normally, so this is par for the course.

More of the WIP stuff for that group action shot! This time it’s the raidest of leaders and general southern gentleman/in-game cowboy(?).

Mmm, part of that group shot I’m still working on (I need reference shots for like 5 more people). This is our token potato and probably the biggest weeb of the group.

WIP, shading and stuff later, I’m in a “let’s learn to do lines and flats” kinda head space.

Samurai extraordinaire, if an eternal mystery, Kat’s been with us for a long while now and we’ve barely scratched the surface of what or who Kat is. We love us some Kat though, and we wouldn’t be us without Kat.

...and with that, Kat just got a “free commission” out of me doing this practice stuff. (Kat commissions art a not-small amount).

More things! It’s almost like I’m trying to do one a day or something! (Pro tip: I am, though not always successfully) This one is our silent nearly immeasurably good resident bard. He’s probably the best of us but says little to nothing. Meet the Xavier. Again with the “shading and highlights to come” ‘cause that’s how I’m currently planning things.
