“I am absolutely exhausted,”Douglas says with a sigh as he sinks into the couch, squeezing his eyes shut. “Class sucked, and I have work in an hour,” he mumbles, “I just need fifteen minutes of quiet.”
Adele looked around to see who the boy was talking too. She sat quietly, confused for a moment as the boy sank down onto the couch next to her. Pressing her lips together for a moment, she then spoke softly, “I’m sorry, were you speaking to me?”
