Just sitting here thinking about life 🤔. My counsellor told me to set myself goals and achieve them in my own time. So I set myself 5 goals which were,to move on after having had cancer✔,get myself back to work which was hard at first & very tiring ✔,to stop being so hard on myself that's slow & steady progress (I have a love/hate relationship with myself at times) 😍😠 lol. 4th one,is to have a holiday in the sun (which is needed) but I keep talking myself out of it for medical reasons. I know I'd be fine but this is a big one for me and as I'll be celebrating 5yrs all clear next May am going to "ACHIEVE" this goal (even thinking about it makes me anxious now 😯. The 5th goal is more of a bouns just,if it happens great if not so be it lol. As many has said to me (especially my lovely mum) Caitlins going to one day meet someone and move out 😭and she'd like to see my happy (which I am ) but again things rear there ugly heads and have me thinking no ones gonna want to be with me after all the crap I've been through & still do (this is how cancer fucks your mind up) I do hope there is people out there can see past the scars,unwell periods & check ups etc (am getting upset even writing this) "FUCKING HORMONES" 🖕. Can't quite believe am on my 3rd anniversary already....oh how time flys. Today's the day I heard these words.....The cancers all gone! You can't put into words how to feel,so many mixed emotions. Life has been changeling (still is at times) but for all I have gone through in those 3yrs it made me stronger in myself.
