CDs will always have my heart
A woman at the library wanted to upload a Mozart CD on her phone and I tried explaining the process to her but she didn't have the laptop/tech to do it and I felt bad that I couldn't help her but damn it made me miss my cd collection.

getting better at your art takes time, not ai
you know how I (and other artists) got better at writing lyrics? by writing them. journals and journals filled since I was a very young kid. poetry. diary entries. poems to put to music. lyrics. free writing. writing when inspired. writing as a practice even when not inspired. listening to a ton of music and absorbing the lyrics. developing taste. figuring out what I like and what kind of lyrics inspire me. plz plz plzzzzz the undervaluing of the journey and art and music and the overvaluing of optimization and productivity and quickness is just not the way. it breaks my heart that the journey and learning and being bad at something and then getting better and good at it is being erased by ai and optimization. plz artists and musicians out there, good things take time. life takes time. time is all we have. f*ck ai. humans will always make better art than anything generated by something that has never lost or loved or grieved or lived.
