Roblox is going to absolute shit and I can’t help but feel like I’m just another “don’t you miss classic roblox???”

This year I have GCSEs and will be starting college the same year, so this will probably be the second most stressful and busy year of my life, I won’t have time to really interact with stuff. I’ll probably still like and reblog stuff, but don’t expect anything art wise for a while, probably not until July I’ll repost this to all of my other accounts

I’m personally on the fence with the ship. I haven’t said I ship it myself but I don’t mind shipping the characters of Builderman and Erik, not the irl guys
I remember having a dream where Telamon gathered everyone together and was like "we need to have a baby" so everyone put their code together and just as the baby formed it cut to Builderman waking up in a cold sweat
Considering how bat-crazy some plots were I wouldn’t be surprised if this was like a scrapped plot
Hi! I found the art blog of an old character designer and managed to dig up some concept designs for two characters, Jan and Keith! I tried to get in contact with the artist but I haven't gotten a reply yet. Also, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I think these two are scrapped characters or never made a physical appearance in the show proper. But then again, I haven't seen the show since I was like 10 so I could be misremembering things.
Anyways, I'll start with Jan! Builderman's wife. I believe she was a writer/journalist (much like the real Janet Baszucki) but the reason she hasn't made an appearance in the show was that according to Builderman, she was traveling the world in search of inspiration for her new book. Also, I just remembered. She made an appearance during one of the season finales according to a friend of mine who watched the show as well, but again, take that with a grain of salt. It's been years since we watched this after all.
Next up, Keith! Now I'm pretty sure he was scrapped as he never made an appearance in the show proper, was never mentioned by the characters, or in other promotional material. (But again, I could be wrong) Which is a shame, considering he was planned to be Builderman's right-hand man and Erik's best friend. And the real-life Keith has made lots of contributions to Roblox, I believe this was a big missed opportunity from the crew. But they were already dealing with so much, so I don't blame them for (possibly) scrapping him.
Wow, I just realized how long my ask was. Sorry for this huge chunk of text! I'll report my findings of another character in a separate ask. ^_^

I was scrolling through an artist I like old DeviantArt and holy fucking air ball look what i found. Apparently the artist had a fankid named Berik who was Beatrice's little brother but they took it down due to backlash
According to the same artist, 2x2 gave Builderman and Erik like this:
Basically blessing them with a baby for their work or something. I'm honestly so surprised that it's still on their DA considering the backlash

One of the crack theories was that Ferb from Phineas and Ferb was the fanchild of Builderman and Erik btw
I wonder what is Builderman and Erik on the series, does they have a episode just dedicated to how their dynamic works??
I think their intended dynamic was as just as very close coworkers, but I do remember a couple Berik/Rocketrepair shippers floating around forums
There were a couple episodes showing their dynamic, actually! Here’s a couple from the top of my head
The pilot ep: the first episode. Introduces the pair as Erik being pretty close friends. Classic optimist and self-identified-realist-but-actually-pessimist duo
Double-edged candle: episode involving the admins on their first vacation, but with a few scenes of Erik trying to coax Builderman into going on vacation too
Code 36: Christmas special where Erik goes missing, also the debut of 1x1x1x1! I remember a MASSIVE uptick in RocketRepair ship art from this episode
Buggy Blues: a virus (the kind that makes you sick) spreads across The Hub (place where players choose games), somehow causing npcs to become sick because the virus was “converted into code” or something like that. Somehow Builderman gets sick with it, leading to some rlly cute scenes with him and Erik
Considering the internet I’m surprised a lot of fan content didn’t become “unsavoury”, probably because a lot of creators drove the disrespectful ones away
