He snorted and shook his head, nudging her gently with his shoulder. “Definitely not me, I’ll tell you that much!”

Focusing on her empty hand, a flash of blue appeared. Resting in her hand was now a black rose.

Well, that was unexpected. You blink and look the flower over, closing your hand around the stem carefully so you don't grab to tightly near a thorn. You force yourself to hide a grin- it instead manifesting in a small smirk- as you look back up at him. "Impurresive."

You take the time to look her over while she's rambling about you not looking human. Not like you haven't heard it before, but it usually goes a little different. Once she finally finishes and asks you a question you perk up with a smile. "I'm Nepeta Leijon! And who might mew be?"

You, again, copy his movement, taking up an over-dramatic air to add to the whole thing. But instead of pretending to be bored with him entirely you stare at him out of the corner of your eye, dawning an eerie expression as you do so.

She nods eagerly, taking another sip of the pink drink. She pulled her lips away with a satisfied sigh. “This stuff is really, really good!”
