Day 546 - February 3, 2018
So, I’ve been considering this for a while, and I’ve finally made a decision - adoodleaday will be moving to a sideblog of my main account! Follow the new blog at https://adoodleaday.tumblr.com - Same address, just a different account! The theme is still a WIP, but the blog is up for you to follow. Hope to see you there!
The reasons for this move are... threefold? One, having to switch between accounts whenever I wanted to upload for the day was just a pain, and this will make uploading much more convenient for me. Two, with the current tagging system, only one of the first five tags was really being utilized - The others were being taken up by generic tags like ‘my art’, or tags nobody would really use for searching, like ‘day ###’. I felt weird changing up the tagging system nearly 550 days into the blog, so rather than go back and redo the whole thing, I figured things would be easier if I just redid it altogether! And three... let’s be honest, if you’re looking for art, you’re probably searching through photo posts, not text posts. Same as the tag thing, I didn’t want to change the system this far into it, so I figured a redo would work just as well!
