     “Hm? Ah, you’re in downtown Yorknew City… Was there something you were looking for specifically?” Ali could relate to the memory problems- sort of. She didn’t exactly forget the same information four times, but she understood how it felt to have to approach someone for information. It could be awkward.

     Regardless, Shizuku’s preliminary assessment of Ali was not incorrect- she didn’t have any knives on her or any sort of physical weapon, but Ali noted that Shizuku was clear too- either they were both innocent or they both had something up their sleeves, which was the more likely of the two options.

Oh right! She was in Yorknew city, how on earth could she forget? Danchou wanted her here for a small mission that was-.... downtown? Yes, downtown. She nodded and gave the woman a bow. “Yes, thank you for your help miss. I remember where I need to be now. My... boss, need me to get something for him at the downtown library.” 

Well that was a nice way to put it. She was actually stealing a book on display for him. Since Shizuku was one of the few spiders currently in the city, she ended up with this task. Not that she minded, though, it more than likely would have been a lot faster for Chrollo if he sent someone else to do this.

Nope, not good at all. A sinking feeling told her that she wasn’t going to make it through this. If what she’s thinking is correct, than she is as good as dead. Going ahead an assuming what the information was, she said, “I will not give you any information on the troupe if that’s what you’re looking for. Anything else is possible.”

Machi followed Shizukus cleanup a while before she began to speak. “Well the boss wanted to speak with us.” She said and pointed at Shizuku than at herself with her indexfinger. “He said he he has a job for us:”

“A job?” Ah well she shouldn’t be shocked. “Are we stealing something?” Once the body was completely sucked up, Blinky disappeared and her hands neatly clasped in front of her. “Alright. I’m done here, lets head out.”

She watched the woman as she walked down the street with curious eyes. It was clear that the woman was blind, after all, she was clicking the ground with the cane that she has in her hand ever step of the way. Shizuku was never the type of person that would go up and ask someone if they needed help, so when she approached the woman, it was clear that she had an ulterior motive in mind.

“Miss. Would you like any help.” She wasn’t sincere, in fact, she seemed passive. Her goal of this was to observe her and run a few little tests of her own on the woman.

“You wouldn’t happen to know Kurapika, would you?” Well this was one way to collect information about your mortal enemy. But of course, as years gone by, Shizuku has found out simply asking the questions results to decent about of information with minimal effort. If she finds that it isn’t enough than it’s easy to change plans and just capture and torture.
