he likes to harass Shamura for the fun of it. Along with the other former Bishops and Lamb. Though Shamura he has a love hate relationship with, no one truly knows what is it with them, not even each other

Back Story of this and whatnot below

(I’m using ‘he’ to make this less confusing for Shamura since mine goes by he/they)

Even though strict and over powering at times Shamura does it for his family. In his eyes, each one was like this at one point in their lifetime in his eyes. Shamura got lucky to see this part for each sibling and are forever how he sees them truly deep down.

In my “Ecclesia of the Divine” AU, Shamura and Kallamar actually meet each other in the war of the gods/divine beings. In short Shamura finds Kallamar out around the shores of the sea, frightened but defensive. They are ‘close’ in age as new gods so they started out mutual with each other in the sense of bringing order back to the lands (and waters) they call home. It wasn’t till later when a god cursed Kallamar to revert to their young self did Shamura see how truly small and fragile life can be. That event is what changed his way of seeing his brother in arms truly like family. Even how he sees his much later siblings down the road.

Of course he saved Kallamar from being a squidling forever but those details are for my story.

I wanted to try something different and get back into things for artfight that’d be new yet simple. Though as always his pedipalps make me weep I’ll figure something out eventually one day.

Small thing of life below

I’m behind for the artfight as the whole month of June I was fighting a migraine that wouldn’t go away. So much so it grew worse and worse everyday and was losing my vision. Went to the emergency room (at this point it was a week) and found nothing wrong and sent me home. As a pointer no pain, migraine, or allergy medication was working to even take the bite. They even gave me some strong stuff and nothing helped one bit. I go somewhere else after another week cause at this point my parents were having to care for me since I couldn’t function with life. It worsened again and once more the ER found nothing but after seeing muscle relaxers were helping slightly they thought it was that. So prescribed that I was sent home and it helped for 2 days before once more not helping. Turns out after some experimenting and my doctor I finally saw I had an infection presuming my ear (my ears never once hurt) and got better after the meds. Cant see great still but progress 💀

Shamura’s claws nudged a bishop across the board with eerie precision. A glint in their eyes showing but for a moment from the light.

“Every piece believes itself important. The pawns die first believing sacrifice earns remembrance. Knights rush forward thinking unpredictability makes them powerful. Rooks stand rigid, reliable, until they become prisons for their own king.”

Their gaze lifted slowly.

“And the queen…”

A soft hum.

“The queen is what all rulers become when cornered. Necessary. Terrifying. Disposable if victory demands it.”

They leaned back.

“The goal is not to destroy your enemy. Any brute can destroy. The true victory is forcing them into a position where every remaining choice kills them.”

A pause.

“That is war.”

I’ve finally finished them, Shamura I actually got sick for straight too weeks after finishing Kallamar

I’d like to think in a semi-realistic manner they’d be too big and clumsy for this type of play. The ribbon would be restricting (that’s the point) and they’d not understand the point of the game. Mostly because of the power-play involving this. They aren’t exactly against it but need serious explaining. Put into such a situation is humiliating but with the right person they’d find it thrilling as well to a sense. His face greatly shows the fix of feelings of it.
