A.D. PLAYERS THEATER ARTS ACADEMY

We are a branch of the AD Players Theater called the Theater Arts Academy (TAA). The Academy offers training for artists of all ages with a primary focus on ages 5-18.  Our Academy is focused on training students and providing them with tools which can be utilized in theater and life experiences.

Henry Selick’s James and the Giant Peach was first released on April 12, 1996.

Henry Selick initially considered doing the whole film in stop-motion, but decided on a blend with live-action to cut down on costs. This took 12 years to reach the screen. Roald Dahl himself was convinced that the property would never make a viable film. (x)
