To be honest, I used to be kind of a slob. But now as i’ve gotten older, I’m more into taking care of myself. The issue is that when my parents see me, for example, putting on lotion or cleaning my room, they’ll go, “What?? You’re cleaning your room? What’s wrong with you!!” And I know it’s meant to be a joke but it’s made me repulsive towards doing basic hygiene which I find disgusting but I physically can’t push myself to do it. I’ve told them to stop but it’s met with “Why the attitude?”
You’ve just got to find a way to tune them out and know you’re doing the right and healthy thing

Hey so I am struggling with figuring out who I am. I’ve been sick in bed for years and finally having some improvement, so I’m feeling kinda lost. I find myself craving experiences. They don’t have to be big, just things I haven’t done before, or don’t do often. I’m also struggling with finding my personal clothing style. Any help or advice you have would be greatly appreciated.
do something youre excited about! i started streaming bc of how you feel maybe go back to school if you havent and try something new like painting or acting or a new language experimenting and just trying is part of the fun bc you can now get inspired and put yourself out there this is the time to push yourself and hey you may try something and fail but thats just apart of life you get up and keep trying until you find something that sticks
my friend works with a boy who asked her out, and she likes him, but she’s insecure and having a hard time believing what he’s saying. i wanna help her feel more comfortable and offer some advice but i dont know what to say without coming across as like pressuring?? idk how to explain. what should i say to her to help?

hi zoo!! I hope you're well. im in a bit of a dilemma. I had a job interview with a clothing store. At first i thought id be happy there if i got the job, but after learning id have to converse with customers, like go up to them gives me anxiety and my mom doesn't get it. im looking again for more jobs tomorrow but I hope I don't get the call because I'd be so unhappy and i KNOW it. I almost started shaking when we rehearsed it to see if I'd be a good fit

im desperate. i spiral constantly, have episodes that i think may be panic attacks but dont want to label them as that, and im basically afraid of everything. there are times where i think everything is too much and want it all to stop and consider some pretty bad stuff. last year i reached out to a doctor and was sent to a therapist, diagnosed with anxiety stuff, and then couldnt go back bc i cant afford it. my mom says im not trying enough to get better, but idk what to do. please please help?
for now youre going to have to find a way to cope maybe breathing exercises or going to your happy place just some easy stuff that you can do now next you gotta prove to your mom how committed you are to this while staying realistic bc this stuff does tend to take awhile until it gets better esp with med stuff i know what really helps me for panic attacks is sitting down, getting something to drink to stop me from hyperventilating, and following this gif:
now its not gonna fix it but it can help remember im not a doctor so talk to your mom about it and explain where youre at and why need it but for now try to find something that works for you that you can do right now <3

(1) What should I do if my parents have a clear favourite? Like, they make my self esteem drop through the floor anytime they can (unless it means impressing a friend) by calling me useless, worthless, telling me to run away, blaming me for anything because “you’re the oldest” etc. At the same time, they try to put my sister’s self esteem through the roof, not telling her when she’s wrong and saying it’s because she’s got no confidence when she’s actually mocking how I am outside of the house?
first off im so sorry that you have to live in a household this toxic <33 is there anyone in your family you could move in with? youve got to find a way to escape if thats physically leaving your house to spend as much time out with friends as possible or finding a form of entertainment you can escape into. never stop fighting, youve got this
hi there dont usually do stuff like this but im freaking out lots :/ i owe my parents a lot of money (im still in high school) and need to get a job. the only problem is that ive had 2 jobs and had panic attacks and quit both 3 weeks in because of them. theres a lot of pressure to get a job and i just dont know what to do or how to make up the money i owe!!!
talk to them !! maybe look into doing stuff in your neighborhood like babysitting or law mowing maybe see if theres stuff you can do online theyre youre parents theyll understand and support you just try doing some ‘odd’ jobs

I'm in a really bad place rn and its so hard to keep myself from relapsing and i can't see my therapist often because my mom doesn't have the money but i really need to talk to her and i keep having to many panic attacks and dont want to end up in the hospital again.
you are so much stronger than you think my parents are psychologists and i know from them and personal experience that some professionals let you call/text/email them try reaching out and letting them know how much you need them esp when you cant see them as often as you need
