Date Night is such a good DT17 episode!! (sorry for the blurry screenshot lol) I think it was a really sweet turning point for Fenton and Brie's relationship 😭💘 Huey and Webby are so sweet to wanna put together a perfect night for them!!

I actually recently posted some art of their first FIRST meeting when they were in high school! They were that classic pair of best friends that never quite became sweethearts but they had huge crushes on each other!

💬 1  🔁 21  ❤️ 103 · Okay as my treat today I did some sketches of teenage Brie and Fenton when they met in highschool!! The bebes... Fenton

But their reunion comes much later, a little bit after Fenton becomes Gizmoduck!! Brie has gotten a job as Mr. McDuck's secretary and is very excited to start her first day at the Money Bin. I'm not sure what exactly goes wrong but in true fashion of the series something goes EXTREMELY wrong and she's put into danger pretty much immediately 😂 maybe one of Gyro's other inventions have gained sentience and turned evil AGAIN.

In the chaos, Brie ends up in the direct line of fire and it looks like she's a goner, UNTIL Gizmoduck swoops in and saves her!! 🥺 the funny thing is that he would recognize her immediately, but she wouldn't recognize HIM in the whole Gizmo getup. Fenton almost lets it slip then and there who he is, but manages to keep a lid on it until he can get away but by that time Brie is already SMITTEN 😂 in a bit of irony she ends up falling for Gizmoduck AND Fenton not knowing they're the same person.

And so, the next day when Brie comes into the office again Fenton is already waiting for her at her desk to 'accidentally' bump into her and reunite properly!! I think it's funny to imagine him pretending that he toootally didn't expect to see her there and trying super hard to act natural, but I think they immediately start talking like good friends again 🥺 soon they're catching up on lunch breaks, over coffee (even though Fenton doesn't drink it), and in no time they're falling for each other!!
