"Nice characters are boring" to YOU. I love characters who no matter what, will always have genuine love for humanity in their heart. Characters who dance and laugh and sing with sincerity. Characters who believe in others, and are willing to extend a helping hand to people when no one gave them the same luxury. Characters who have gone through so much but believe, no matter what, that humanity and life is something beautiful and worth protecting

Pixelberry thinking of plots in 2016: Exiled queen fights to reclaim her kingdom with the help of a man with mysterious powers. Yup. Mhmm, let’s work with that. Okay next, a group of college students wins a weeklong vacation at a mysterious island where they learn of an impending apocalypse among other odd qualities on the island. Maybe next year we’ll do a story about some teens who encountered the supernatural as kids and it comes back to bite them in the ass. We’ve gotta keep it creative, people.

The It Lives Project
In light of the recent news that Pixelberry has cancelled all future books for the It Lives anthology, a group of dedicated fans has come together to create our own final book. We are calling it the It Lives Project, and this is the official blog to follow for any news, updates, and information.
WHO WE ARE
We are just a group of passionate It Lives fans, creators, writers, and artists who came together to give this story the ending it deserves.
OUR GOAL
Our goal is to create a visual novel to tell the final chapter of the It Lives story. We will release a full-sized book (15-20 chapters) with a story controlled by player choices. The finished product will be playable online on itch.io and we plan to share it for all players to enjoy. Using programming software, we’ll recreate the Choices format with different choice trees and outcomes to tell a new story. The story will include a fresh, gender-customizable MC and four new love interests, all while incorporating player choices from the previous novels.

Felicity’s words were still hammering on her brain, and Elizabeth could not chase away the persistent idea that she is a mere asset to her family, nor the new theory for her grandmother’s obsession with her relationship with Hamid.
After putting on the woollen coat, Elizabeth deftly wrapped the burgundy scarf twice around her neck, making sure it would not be carried by the wind, and picked the mobile. Texting the driver, she hurried to leave, however, before she could reach the door, it swinged open.
Without knocking first like etiquette commands, Lady Dominique marched inside her bedroom. Closing the door behind her, the attentive blue eyes lingered on her granddaughter, inspecting how she had wrapped herself up.
“May we have a word, Elizabeth?” The severity on the tone and expression revealing that was not a request.

A calm moment in the midst of a perilous journey and 11. Tending to one another’s wounds * Warning: Mentions of BLOOD and description of INJURY. Readers’ discretion advised.
A white blanket covers the forest.
The sunlight, filtering through the leaves of the towering trees, creates an almost dreamlike atmosphere. A last moment of peacefulness at the improvised encampment, while Arwen’s companions are still sleeping. Huddled, they try to find elsewhere the heat the night stole from the world.
After Arwen managed to soundless crawl out of the bedroll and rise to her feet, she immediately misses the warmth radiating from the elf sleeping by her side. No matter how much she enjoys being so close to him, longing for his deep voice to be the first thing she hears in the morning and for the day this sleeping arrangement will be not due to the perils of the journey or convenience - for him at least - there is no time to spare. Soon, this white, dense and cold fog will dissipate, the world will reclaim its multitude of colors and everyone else will be up and ready for another long and exhausting day.
Arwen gathers her cloak and satchel, then walks as quietly as possible over the layer of fallen leaves, meandering through a narrow dirty path.
