I've been thinking long and hard and I suppose I better come clean with this.

I'm going to go on an indefinite hiatus, which is the nicest way to put it. Honestly, I don't really see myself coming back to this account, because I don't have the drive to roleplay on here anymore; I just don't enjoy it as much as I used to. And I think that saying that I'll try picking up roleplaying again and then stopping for weeks at a time is just giving people false hope (myself included). So enough of that.

I'm not going to delete this blog, that just seems like a waste of two years. If nothing else. I'd like to at least have the memory left.

It's been a great two years guys, and I have genuinely enjoyed my time here. I really hope you won't miss Eirík too much.

Again, waking up with the small fox nestled by his side came as no surprise. Again, the feeling of familiarity remained, and he knew that this was totally natural. Normal, even.

And the day passed with no unusual occurances, aside from Bangsi being extremely confused by the addition of the arctic fox - humans could easily tell the difference between dæmons and animals, but animals themselves seemed to have a harder time understanding. But it did not take the young sheepdog long to accept her, soon finding himself following her around just as she followed Eirík, much to the Icelander's amusement and the dæmon's irratation.

"Eiríkur, please tell your dog that I am not a playmate."

Her voice was soft and floaty, though with a somewhat dignified air. He knew her voice, of course, despite having only heard it today. This whole experience was more a process of rediscovering Snædís, and was not at all difficult to get used to. She just appeared to slip into place in his life. As if she had always done. Though, he could not help but laugh at the irratation in her quiet voice, but he complied, scooping the small white fox into his arms, and shooing the dog away in the process. Snædís proceeded to crawl up to lie across his shoulders, large fluffy tail flicking into his face briefly. "Better?" his question was met by a low noise of content, and he lifted his arm to gently rub her small ears.

This was certainly going to be an interesting week.
